American Magical practice has, since the colonial era, focused on the three primary Magics previously mentioned. Many laws govern the interactions of Witches on this continent. An old rhyme, “Black as night, shall never wear White”, for example, outlines the custom that Black Witches are forbidden from marrying at any time in their lives. White and Green Witches may intermarry, but in general, Witches are strongly encouraged to marry within their own Path. The Witch who chooses to wed a Non is setting herself up for years of hardship and misery, but at the time of this writing, no laws expressly forbid the intermarriage of Magical practitioners and Nons.
