~ Embarrassing Scene ~

I walk in to grab what I want. "D! Do you have the information?"

"Yeah I have as much as I could find. It's not much but it should give you a head start."

"Thanks. I owe ya'." I run and my echoed voice runs through the lab and rings in my ears.

New Jersey. I'm headed to New Jersey for what reason? Why would Ivy want to go there. Or is there just a lead? I haven't decided yet. Maybe I'll find her. I hope so. One thing I do know is I need cash. This would be a long car ride so I need to buy a plane ticket. I should probably run by my apartment. On my way there I saw a car behind me that looked suspicious. I couldn't see through the windshield. I felt like I was being followed so I led the car a-stray. I rolled my window down and stopped the car that was within many lengths from me. I started to put my head out the window and the car quickly turned around leaving. That confirmed I was being followed. Who was that? And more importantly...what do they want? I have to be more careful or else I will never see anybody again.

--- 7 hours & 30 minutes later ---

I got off the plane and went to the nearest cafe to sit down for a cup of coffee. As soon as I received my coffee I got a phone call from and unknown number. Did this have anything to do with that car that followed me?

I pick up the phone. "Hello?"

"How is New Jersey coffee Cam?" Then she spoke.

"Ivy?!"

"Shh..." She whispers over the phone. "I need to stay low profile. Would you like to meet me?"

"Uh, yes. Yes, where do you want to meet?" I said eagerly.

"I'll send the address to your phone." Then she hung up. How is it possible that she knew exactly where I was. I didn't even see her. So I went to go meet her of course.

---a little later at the Braxton hotel---

She told me to meet her in room 227. I took the elevator to the fifth floor and followed the numbers beside the doors. I knocked on the 227 room door. It opens quickly with her pointing a gun at me. Her eyes immediately start to water. She lowers the gun. Puts it in her back pocket and runs into my arms. I pick her up, her feet no longer touching the ground. We were holding on so tight. Is this a dream? Is she really here with me?

"Where have you been?!" I ask suddenly.

"All over." She replies laughing and crying at the same time. She started to play with my hair.

"I missed you so much you have no idea. A lot have happened in these past 8 months Cam." She paused. "I have to tell you something."

Ivy's POV

His hair was so soft. I missed the scent of his cologne when I used to hug him. I mean I feel a lot better and I can deal with my feelings a lot better too. I think I am mostly back to my old self. Except for one thing.

" I know you're in a gang. " He looked at me in fear. As if he thought I was going to leave him. Almost as if he thought that's why I broke up with him.

"No." I shook my head. "That's not why I left."

"Then why did you leave? You left everyone. All you had to tell us was a stupid note."

"I know I'm-.."

" No you don't get to apologize. We need to talk about why you-" I interrupted him. And put my finger over his lips. "Shhh." I added. "Listen..." We heard hard foot stomps in the hall. I grabbed my gun and gave one to Cameron. During our fight to my enemies we kept talking.
