(purposefully lowercase)
in which he comes home from the studio to find you sleeping
ashton's point of view (pov) :

i smile as i look at the time: 5:41. i get to go home early from the studio, thankfully. when i get home, y/n and i are supposed to get ready to go out for dinner. i smile the whole way home from the studio, excited to see my girl for a little bit.

when i open our apartment door, i walk to the bedroom, looking for her and immediately spot her on our shared bed, sleeping. i chuckle and take my shirt off, then slide onto the bed behind her, grabbing her by her waist to pull her closer to me.

her eyes flutter open and i chuckle at her tired state. "oh shit, fuck, sorry, love. just let me get ready real quick. i was so tired, i'm sorry, ash." she sits up and begins to get up before i grab her by her arm, pulling her back onto the bed. "ash, we gotta- wait, why aren't you wearing a shirt?"

"it wasn't comfy to sleep in." i shrug. "we can have a cuddle date, how's that? or we can go to dinner, if you want..." i trail on, knowing how much she loves her sleep.

"really? that sounds nice." she beams and crawls on top of me, kissing my lips. i kiss back and hold her there by the back of her neck. she sighs in content, smiling into the kiss. she runs her hands through her hair, one of the things she knows i love when she does so. she pulls away, giggling.

"what're you giggling about, silly girl?" she sits up, straddling me and looks down at me. i grip her thighs, making her squeal. "somethin' funny?"

"no," she laughs. "i'm just really happy." she gets off me and plops down on her back. i lay on my side to look at her as she stares at the ceiling.

"'m happy, too, sunshine." she blushes at the pet name and holds her hands on her stomach.

"really?" she smiles brightly and turns to look at me as well.

"really, love." i peck her lips and pull her to my body, wrapping my arms around her. "can we fuckin' cuddle now?"

she laughs. "as you wish." i grin and close my eyes, fiddling with the soft fabric of her shirt. "goodnight, ash."

"goodnight, y/n." i yawn and soon she's asleep within what seem like seconds. "someone's sleepy."
