8. Love And Happiness

(9 years later)
Ahhh... nothing but a great day in my apartment once again. It's the anniversary of me being in fairy tail and dating Natsu for 9 years! 9!! That's awesome! I put on some nice and cute clothes and went to the guild hall. The girls squeal at me and I got confused.

"What's up?" I ask. I noticed the place it filled with nice stuff and rose pedals on the floor.
"Follow the pedals, (Y/N)!" Lucy said and I did. There was a long path. Everyone followed. What the heck is going on? Where's Natsu?

It stops at a door and I open it. Candles are everywhere and roses. I walk in and I see Natsu smiling at me in a black suit. He gives me a bouquet of red roses and I smile.
"Natsu... they're beautiful..." I said and smelled them.

"Not as beautiful as you." Natsu said and I giggle and blush. He looked down and grabbed my hand and kissed it. I stare at him in confusion questioning what's happening.
"(Y/N), we've been together for 9 whole years... so... I wanna ask you something..." He said and my eyes widen.

He got down on one knee and I cover my mouth. I'm about to cry.. he took out a box and everyone else started cheering and clapping.
"(Y/N) (L/N)...." He said and opened the box and I see a beautiful ring.
I started crying and he smiles.

"Will you marry me...?" He asked. I sniffled and sobbed. I nodded my head and smiled.
"Yes! Yes yes yes!" I said and he got up and hugged and kissed me and I did it back. He took my left hand and put the ring on my ring finger and everyone was cheering and I kissed him again. I was still crying. Lucy gave me a tissue and I blew my nose in it.

"This is the best day of my life..." I said.
The girls hugged me and I hugged back. We chat and gossip and I couldn't stop staring at the ring. It's beautiful.. I can't wait to be (Y/N) Dragneel... the girls look at me with smiles.

"We're so happy for you." Levy said and I smile back. We all hug once again and I giggle.
"I love you girls." I said.
"We love you too, (Y/N)." They said.
"We should go shopping for the wedding!" Lucy said.
"Good idea Lu!" Levy said and I agreed.

Later on, I still need to figure out my wedding dress.. this is tough.. I tried on a dress and showed the girls.
"Hmmm... twirl please." Levy said and I did.
"Cute but not really a style for an ice dragon slayer." Wendy said.
"Juvia agrees." Juvia said.

I went and tried on another dress and went to show the girls. They shook their head no and I kept trying on dresses. Ugh! I agree with them. The dresses aren't really my style! But there's one dress left. I try it on and look at myself at the mirror first. Hey.. it's beautiful! It has snowflakes! I love it! I went out and showed the girls. Their eyes sparkled and they smiled.

"That's the one!!" They said.
"I agree!" I said and I took it off and got back in my normal clothes. Man I'm so excited for the wedding! I bought the dress and we went home. I go to my apartment and put the dress in my closet so Natsu doesn't see. It's bad luck for the groom to see the brides dress before the wedding.

"Where were you at?" I see Natsu smiling sitting on the couch with Happy eating fish.
I smile and giggle then close my closet door.
"You know the usual. Shopping." I said and he chuckled and went to me and hugged me. I hugged back and smiled.

He let go and looks at the ring. I look at it too.
"I can't wait to have you as my wife.." He said softly and I giggle.
"I can't wait to have you as my husband." I said and I kissed him and he kissed back. Happy giggled.

"Cute couple you guys are!!" He said and we laughed softly. But suddenly I feel such pain in my stomach.
"NNGH!" I said grabbed my stomach and falling on the couch.

"Babe! Are you okay?!" Natsu said worried.
"M-my stomach hurts..." I said and he grabbed his phone and called someone.
"Please come... I don't know what's wrong." He said and hung up.

Later, Wendy Gray Lucy and Erza came. Wendy was studying my stomach and she closed her eyes. She opened them in shock.
"I... I don't believe it..." she said. Her eyes sparkle. I know what she's talking about.

"What?" Natsu asked.
"I'm pregnant..." I said and everyone's eyes widen. Lucy and Erza fangirl and Gray is in such shock. His jaw dropped. Natsu smiles and tears fell from his eyes. I hug him and he hugs back.

"I'm gonna be a daddy!" He said and I smiled and nodded. We kiss and I wipe my eyes after the others smile and tears fell from their eyes.
"Congratulations you guys.." Wendy said and we smiled and hugged them.

(5 years later)
"Mama! Papa! Look! I found a pwetty flower!" Our daughter, Kaylin said. I smile and Natsu carries her. I was washing dishes while Natsu was playing with our daughter and son.

"It looks beautiful, pumpkin." He said and I smile. Our son Kayden, jumped on Natsu's back. He laughs and they play around. I giggle and finish washing the dishes. Kaylin and Kayden are twins. Kaydens the oldest. Even though it's only by a minute. Natsu and I have been married for 5 years..

"Mama! Come play with us!" Kaylin said.
"I wish I could sweetie but mommy has work to do." I said. She looks down in sadness.
"Awww.." She said and I kiss her forehead.
"I promise I'll play with you soon. I'm almost done. You can play with daddy and your brother for now." I said and Happy came in.

"Hi Happy!" Kaylin said and Happy smiled and waved.
"I came here to play with the kids!" He said and I nodded. I went in mine and Natsu's bedroom and got out my laptop. I started typing my work and I sigh.

"Man... this is such a struggle." I said and I felt arms wrap around my body and a head laying on my shoulder. Hehe Natsu.
"The biggest struggle is you not playing with us." He said and looked at me with a sad face.
"I know honey. I have work so I don't have time. I just need to finish this paragraph and I'm finished." I said and he carries me. My eyes widen and I feel myself blushing.

"N-Natsu!!" I said and he smirks.
"What? You're not doing work for the next 5 hours missy." He said and I blush more.
"Why? I need to finish it's only a little bit more!" I said and I was struggling to get down.
"Oh no you don't. You can do that later." He said and he kissed me. I blushed and kissed back.

I smile and he puts me down. Kaylin jumps on Natsu's back and I pick up Kayden. We smile and play. Natsu ran around like a horse with Kaylin on his back pulling his scarf like he's a horse. Heheheh.
"It's just like when I was babysitting Asuka..." He said and I laughed. I put Kayden on my lap as I sit on the couch and give him his pacifier. I play around with the kids and we laughed. It's almost time for dinner.

"It's time for me to cook dinner." I said and they cheered.
"I Hope is steak!" Kayden said.
"But I want fish." Kaylin said and happy smiled.
"I'm not the only one!" He said and I giggled. I start cooking and Natsu chops some vegetables and helps.

The kids went to bed. I sigh and stare at the night sky. Natsu hugs me from behind. I smile and look at him.
"What's wrong?" He asked.

"Nothing. I'm just happy I have the best family in the world." I said and he chuckles.
"Same." He said. We kissed and I am the happiest mom/wife in the world...
