Just Us Two

Melody's POV

"You almost ready for your date night with Jake sis?"

I turned to Del as I finished my overnight bag for staying with Jake at his place. I smiled and nodded. "Yep. Got my PJs, my bathroom stuff, everything I need. Does Emily have all the movies and food I'm taking over there ready?" "Yep. The movies are in a bag and the food's all in a cooler."

Today was date night for me and Jake, we haven't had one in a while since the day he got the letter in the mail. It was quite a while ago, but I still remember like it was yesterday. It was not a good day.

Flashback

Jake and I were at the beach, just relaxing laying down on a beach blanket. I was laying my head on Jake's bare chest, listening to his steady heartbeat. Jake's left hand was stroking my hair, while his right arm was leveling his head. We relaxed to the sounds of the ocean around us. Earlier we were swimming and he showed me cliff diving. It was a great day.

"Hey, I looks like it's about to rain. We should get back before it gets dark." I nodded and we packed up everything and headed back to his place.

Jake and I came through the door and we called to Billy, he was in the kitchen. Jake said that he would put the stuff away and I can go relax. I headed into the kitchen and saw Billy reading a letter that must have come in the mail. But as he was reading it he looked upset. "Billy, what's wrong?"

He looked up and sighed. He handed me the letter and as it got right into my hands, I saw that it was a wedding invitation. And not just any wedding invitation, it was an invitation to Edward Cullen's and Bella Swan's wedding. Seriously?! Hasn't she already hurt Jake enough already?!

I was about to rip up the invitation into many tiny pieces, when Jake walked into the room. He saw the letter in my hands and I wanted to hid it, but he's already seen it. "What's that?" I didn't want to show him, but I had no choice. I handed him the invitation. He had it for a second and I saw his jaw clenched, his hands were trembling. I placed my hand over his and he started to calm down.

"Jake, look, I know you're upset, but you need to understand that Bella made her choice. If she wants to be with Edward forever and be a vampire, then it's her choice. And you, you moved on from her and got me. I'll always be right here by your side Jake."

Jake calmed down and hugged me close to him. He kissed my forehead and placed his head on top of mine.

End Flashback

And today was the day of that wedding. Jake didn't want to go. So, Billy went with Sue and Seth. But I wasn't thinking about Bella at all today. Today was only going to be about me and my amazing werewolf boyfriend.

Time Skip

Jacob's POV

I picked up Melody at Emily's place and she and I were at my house in the living room, sitting on the couch, watching movies non-stop all night. Today was Bella's wedding and I still remember when I got the invitation in the mail I nearly phased right in the kitchen, I was too close to both my dad and Mel. Luckily Mel calmed me down.

I had to face the facts that Bella wasn't in my life anymore. She's marrying that leech and I'm with Melody. She's moving on with her life, and I'm moving on with mine.

I felt Mel scoot closer to me, she was acting different. She snuggled her head on my shoulder, she moved and kissed my neck. She giggled and she wrapped her arms around me, continuing kissing my neck. Oh, she wants to do that, huh? Well, two can play at that game.

Melody's POV

Jake knew that I was teasing him. I saw earlier that he was in deep thought about something, and he also had a angry look on his face. I decided to distract him by kissing his neck, seductively of course. I could hear him growling, deep in his throat. He liked it. Suddenly, Jake pushed me down on the couch on my back took my arms, and placed them above my head and he was suddenly on top of me. He looked down at me with his hot, sexy smirk and he started to roughly kiss my lips.

Oh my Poseidon, Jake was such an amazing kisser. I felt his tongue at my mouth, begging for entrance, I gladly gave him entry to my mouth and our tongues started fighting for dominance. He won. Jake slowly released my arms and he moved his hands down to my hips. He lifted my shirt up a bit and he was caressing my skin. I put my hands up around his head and I tugged his hair.

We continued making out for another five minutes until we had to pull away for air. I was heavily breathing and so was he. We stared at each other for a few seconds, and then we broke into laughs.

Jake then lightly kissed me again on the lips, then he moved to my cheek, then stopped his lips on my neck. He was licking and sucking. I let out a small moan and heard him chuckling against my neck. Jake pulled away and said, "You are such an amazing girl. I love you, so much Mel."

I blushed and said, "I love you too Jake. So much."

Jake helped me back up and we went back to watching movies. I cuddled up to him and enjoyed the rest of the night with my boyfriend.

Third Person's POV

All was well in the packs lives. No nomad vampires had crossed their paths for some time, Bella Swan was getting married and soon she would become a vampire and the Cullens would leave. The pack was so excited about this. Even though the Triton sisters would miss them since they were close with them. But they knew that it wouldn't be goodbye forever.

But little to the sisters and the pack, something bad was about to happen when Bella and Edward come back from their honeymoon.
