"How could you say Empire Strikes Back is better than A New Hope!"

Peter rolled his eyes at his friends dramatic response to his preferred Star Wars movie, even though he happened to like them all; he still favored Empire Strikes Back more. "I'm just saying that I think Empire Strikes Back is more interesting, and it's one of the greatest sequels ever made."

"But A New Hope started it all! Without it, there would be no Empire Strikes Back," Ned said in a irritable tone, looking at his friend like he was the most brainless person he'd ever met. "The originals are always better than the sequels."

"Okay fine A New Hope was better, Happy?"

"Yes, indeed I am." Ned said, finally satisfied with Peter's answer.

The two nerds were seated at the corner of the cafeteria, where many windows were located behind them. It had been their table since freshman year, and remained that way even till this day.

"Anyways, how has your day been so far?" Ned asked, trying to make conversation with Peter after their battle between which Star Wars movie was better.

"Eh, it wasn't so great to be honest." The nerdy brunette boy said in a distasteful voice, finally letting his spoon fall on his plate and pushing it in front of him with an unsettling face. He hadn't had a horrible day, but it wasn't such a good one either.

"What happened?" Ned asked, curious as to why his friend was so bothered.

Peter let out a short sigh,"Well first off, I was late to first period and Mrs. Warren wasn't very happy about it and-"

"Again," the Lego lover interrupted, disappointment written all over his face. "Peter this is the eleventh time in a month."

"I know, but there was this lady getting mugged, and you know I have a responsibility as you know who to protect Queens." The boy with chocolate eyes whispered to his best friend.

"Yeah, I know," Ned replied, with downcast eyes and a guilty face. He knew that his best friend was the prominent superhero Spider-Man and he thought it was awesome, but there were times when he needed his best friend and he wasn't there a lot of the time. Sometimes, Ned thought that Peter would prefer to be out there risking his life than to hang out with him, but he never questioned him because he convinced himself it wasn't true. "Just try not to be late anymore, unless you want Mrs. Warren to literally kill you with her death stare."
