Twenty One

Never Mind

We spent the whole afternoon, there at the bay walk staring at the sea, cuddling. Well, it was just him who was really clingy. He keeps on kissing my hair and hugging me. We never dared to say any word. It was quiet enough for us to hear our heart beating. 

I admit. I love him very much! But the memories still haunts. It is too scary. The darkest days of my life haunts.

He held my hand as he walked me going to my house in our village. Natsu isn't home and so as dad so it will be alright.

He looked at me straight in the eye, "Go to your house, I'll wait here."

"Just go, I'll be safe." I said trying to sound annoyed. But deep inside I feel giddy.

He smirked, "Com'on I'll wait here, to see you safe."

"Oh glob, our gate is just over there."

"Just follow me, woman." he said. Running his fingers through his hair he swiftly planted a soft kiss on my left cheek. I froze and my cheeks are burning red. I bit my lip to hide my smile. 

Damn this man!

I turn around, my cheeks were blushing madly thinking about what I'm about to do next.

"Gray!" I called him, "Fuck," I whispered, "Text me when you are home. Be safe!" I said and went inside the gates and locked it. 

I ran inside and to my bedroom and covered my face with my pillow. 

I feel giddy, I don't know why!

After a few minutes my phone beeped, my heart dropped as I picked my phone and read the message.

Gray

I'm home. Safe and sound. :)

I hands are shaking while typing him a message. Okay... Juvia... Calm down...

To Gray

Okay. 

That's it. Fuck! I suck at this.

I was kind of pissed when he didn't reply after. I pouted typing a message for him again.

To Gray

What are you doing? 

My heart is beating madly. Did I asked the correct question? Do I sound clingy? Damn. Damn. Damn. 

After a few seconds he replied. 

Gray

Lying in my bed. How about you? 

Then an image of him in his white v neck and boxers, laying down in his bed. Oh glob, i'm going insane!

To Gray 

Just the same. Tired. 

Gray 

Let's have a date tomorrow, I don't care what you are going to say, I wan't to spend time with you.

Tomorrow he said we will going to have a date.

It will be pretty awkward. And yes it was.

There in front of me was Gray with his stoned expression, tilted head, staring at me as if he owns me.

I cursed silently because it is too awkward. The food didn't come yet.

When the food arrived, no one dared to speak. We ate silently but I felt him stealing glances at me.

"What?"

"You are so gorgeous." he murmured.

"S-shut up."

That freak!

"Can you speak... I mean say anything. " he said. I looked at him with a weird look.

What? Why?

"Huh?"

He closed his eyes and looked up and said some curse words.

"Are you insane?"

He looked at me again and nodded, "I am."

I rolled my eyes and continued eating.

Weirdo.

"Tell me about yourself." he said. I tilted my head.

"Why?"

"I want to know you."

"Well, sorry, but I don't want to." I said. He sighed.

"Do you want to know what I want?" he asked me.

"Not interested."

"I want you."

My eyes widened and my cheeks are burning red. This man! Tsk!

I glared at him but he was grinning sheepishly. 

The next few days was a blur. Everything went so fast. I'm now giving myself into him. 

Never mind the consequences, it is better to love and lose the fight than to never feel love at all. 

Lucy kept on visiting me at my house though, which was quite unusual. Natsu is out of the country too. I wonder what happened between the two.

Lucy often ask me where is Natsu but since I'm a tease, I just smile and shrug. I bet, they are having a fight right now.

Dad is home right now and Gray texted me earlier that he wants to see me. 

And I want to see him too. 

See?! I'm turning nuts!

My anger just suddenly vanished and subsided. What the hell!

Dad didn't allow me to go out today so I told him I'm going to have a movie marathon in my room instead.

I was never a rebel against my dad, I always follow his rules but... I guess this time, I have to break them. 

Damn! Just for that guy!

It is a Sunday afternoon and Dad is in the library. I went to the one of the many comfort rooms of our house which was near at the backyard, since it has a small window that leads to our backyard which has no guards around and a CCTV, well, it has but it is not pointed here. I escape there. 

When I successfully escaped, I ran going to the guard house of our village. I texted Gray. 

To Gray 

Where are you? 

My phone rang and I quickly answered it. 

"Turn around."

I turned around and he was there grinning sheepishly. I rolled my eyes. 

"I was about to go to your house and get you there." 

My eyes widened, "Oh, no... no, dad doesn't know that I'm  out." 

He shot his brows up, amused, "You escaped?" I nodded, looking away. 

He smirked. Then a thought came across my mind, "How did you know our house by the way?" 

Cause last time when we went to the bay, he drove me going to our village and he decided we should just walk cause for him, it is romantic. Ugh.

His grin faded away, stunned but he smiled afterwards, "I have my ways." 

I rolled my eyes as he held my hand and we went going to his car.

The moment I sat at the front seat of his car, I thought of something, 

Never mind the consequence, I should enjoy this while it lasts. He might betray me again in the future but what matters is now.
