"The three girls have met already, yet they remain ignorant of the fact that they are destined to be a trio, destined to save the world."

"They have met already?"

"Yes. And it seems as though the spell is taking root."

"Good. Continue watching them, Luna."

"As you wish, My Lady."

Luna walked down the white marble steps of the house, pale white dress trailing over them. Everything was white here. I guess one could call it heaven. An angel's hometown would be a more fitting name for it.

Unfurling her wings, they lifted her up into the air and away from the marble house, carrying her to a more colorful place: Earth. Here, she would take form as a simple-minded girl called Cassandra Evans who had no parents nor relations and lived alone in a nice house. Since Luna was Cassandra, she knew and witnessed the spells taking place within Nanae, Ariana, and Stephanie. Indeed, they hadn't noticed yet, but Luna would later have to explain.

Ugh. You know that I have more important things to do than this, thought Luna. But she knew what would happen if she told this to the Lady. To the Lady, nothing was more important than cultivating the spells within these human's minds to help save the world. Ha, saving the world, thought Luna wryly. As if no one was doing that already.

Luna could appear as something else, another form in Earth, such as a bird or something. But, she had to use Cassandra or else something might appear unexpected and very sudden. She did she the halflings, the ones with white and black wings. And she did know that the world was slowly falling into turmoil. Very slowly.

The girl opened her eyes. The first thing she saw was dust. It was falling all around her. She sat up, slowly, so as not to disturb the surrounding area and saw a boy. A boy just like her, with white and black wings and a slight transparency.

"You are awake now, aren't you?" snapped a cold voice from the corner where the boy was sitting.

"Um...yes," she replied meekly.

"Okay whatever." His back was to her, and she couldn't help but sigh.

"What?!" he demanded.

She looked surprised. "What? I didn't do anything."

"You just sighed," he snapped back, turning around to face her.

She peered into his determined and angry eyes. "Calm down," she said and smiled kindly.

He felt a bit unnerved by the smile, yet it warmed him from the bottom crevices of his heart.

"Where are we?" asked the smiling girl. "Where are the two girls that saved us?"

"They didn't save us," growled the boy. "We were just stuffed into here." He indicated the shoddy cabin.

"At least they gave us a place to live. If we had lived in any of their houses, won't their parents be confused?"

The boy shrugged indifferently. "Okay, fine. But still."

The girl gave a small smile. "Did they leave any food?"

"Over there." The boy indicated the corner across from him which was overflowing with chips and snack bags.

"Do you think we can eat?"

The boy froze. "I-I don't know............ It's been so long since I've eaten and since I was last a human."

"It's fine. I'll try." She popped a chip into her mouth, chewed, and swallowed. "Ugh. I feel so full, like I won't be able to eat anything anymore."

"So I guess we aren't allowed to eat."

"Yeah. Unfortunately."

"That's kind of sad."
