Your phone rings at three am in the morning, you pick it up from the night stand next to your bed, eyes filled with slumber.

"hello?" you say, too tired to think about the odds of the situation, the voice that you hear next is enough to stop any doubt.

"I just wanted to hear your voice," Baekhyun's dry voice whispered into the speaker, after his words followed a small I miss you, you could tell he was half asleep.

"I miss you too," you mumble tiredly, words barely comprehensible.

"can you talk? Like just talk, I like your voice." the boy was aware of the fact that he probably sounded like a lovesick fool, but he really did miss you. He was tired yet sleepless because your smile kept replaying in his mind.

"alright," you agreed, the smile was clear in your voice.
