You hated fighting with Baekhyun, that was for sure. But while a part of you wished for all of the heavy tensions and laser shooting glares to be over, the petty side of you just didn't want to let go of the grudge this one time. It had been three days since the last time the two of you had talked and the fact that he didn't make any effort to talk things out made you utterly furious. Well, bring it up, you thought, it was a game of pride, and yours wasn't going to crumble easily. Not any less his.

The relationship between you and Baekhyun was like a blue flame, a burning passion, a love where he wouldn't see anyone but you and your heart only knew how to love him, and no one else, ever. A love that would push you over crazy limits for each other, where being apart would make it hard to breathe. There was nothing in this world you were more sure on than the fact that you and he were meant to be. As if the two of you were tied by a red thread, securely so, you were wrapped around his finger and no less was he on yours.

But that was what rended every fight so much more intense, so hard to give up. You were two strong personalities that many times crashed, each fighting for their justice whenever tested. Your friends had many times wondered why you bothered to stay in a relationship with someone so hard to deal with and you couldn't help but to roll your eyes at those questions. Of course, Baekhyun could be so stubborn, so mean and in one second become everything you ever hated, but that was because he was your everything. It was meant to happen. What point was there to relationships if you let fights that could in one way or another be solved, tear you apart? Yes, you and Baekhyun fought a lot, and yet here you were, still refusing to let go of each other. Because you didn't let arguments get to you.

Fighting also meant caring for each other.

An exasperated sigh left your lips when the school's biggest flirt pinned you against the wall for the tenth time that week, his sharp gaze undressing you and you felt it burn through your skin, it took all of you not to muster the disgusted cringe that threatened to twist your lips. You had lost the count of the times you'd told him that you were taken and that you had absolutely zero interest in him, but it had been as if your words had entered one ear and exited the other, you were seriously starting to consider telling him in a different language out of pure desperation. 

Absentmindedly, you were checking on your nails while the boy tried to seduce you with words that had turned useless before he'd even spoken them. 

On the other side of the huge corridor was your boyfriend who had just exited from his previous class. You hadn't seen him coming out of his music course because of the tall man currently hovering over you, Baekhyun couldn't help but shoot daggers into the guys' back, absolutely despiting the way he was approaching you when he full well knew - the whole school knew -that you were his girlfriend. Before he knew it, the glare on his face had become permanent, oddly so, he felt his heart clench in his chest when your gaze crossed his, a look of surprise made its way on your face for the quickest second before it morphed into something that set his blood on fire. The way your gaze swiftly went from the guy in front you and back to Baekhyun, only to lift a cocky eyebrow, as if you were laughing at his misery.

Well, what are you going to do about this?

His sharp teeth drilled deeply into his bottom lip as he felt himself crumble on the inside, he could stay mad at you for how long he wanted, he could give the cold shoulder forever if he wished, but this, he could never handle it, he could never handle see you giving him that look while next to another man. The jealousy was eating him up as he continued watching, barely stopping himself from throwing punches at the guy. It was unfair, how he would turn so armless, so vulnerable at your actions.

Deciding that the guy was crossing yet another line, he leaned away from the wall, taking big steps towards you. You counted to three in your head.

3- the guy was immediately torn away from your view and you barely held a smirk at the mix of anger and jealousy clouding Baekhyun's eyes. He breathed heavily, his nose flaring as he gave you a chilling glare once he faced you. It did intimidate you a bit, but not enough to not keep your stand and answer his gaze with a mocking smirk. You could hear his blood boil inside of his veins.

"Well?" You prompted, crossing your arms over your chest challengingly. He sent you a warning glare.

"Are you fucking kidding me?!" Baekhyun growled and you found yourself admiring the veins that surfaced on his neck, how his Adam's apple bobbed slightly as he gulped.

"What?" You knew exactly what he was talking about but still found playing clueless way too fun to give him what he wanted right away. His jaw clenched and you couldn't help yourself when you found it extremely handsome of him to do that.

"Am I a joke to you? Stop playing with me," His breath was hitting your cheek when he warned you once more, sounding like he was barely controlling his anger within, increasing the closeness between the two of you, extending each arm on each side of your head so that he could trap you completely.

"What for? Are you jealous?" You knew that you were just adding more fuel to the fire, but you loved this game. Baekhyun knew better than anyone else that you solely loved him, and yet he let other people who wanted you get to him. It showed his insecurities, he was afraid to lose you. 

"Don't provoke me," He breathed out, voice low and threatening, "You're mine." Finally, you thought. This was what you wanted to hear, you wanted this confidence in his voice always, you didn't want him to doubt himself over you. "Prove it," You said, and the last thing you saw was his deep, icy blue orbs flowing with want before your vision went black and his lips were devouring yours, his mouth hastily tracing your jaw.
