February second came pretty fast, quicker than I really expected, and before I knew it, it was time to pack for the four month tour. It was just four months I could survive this awkwardness for four months... I hope so anyway.

It is currently 3 in the morning, and I can't sleep, so I am going over everything that I need for what seemed like the hundredth time, I can't help it, I'm a little nerve wracked at the moment, and in two hours I will be seeing him face to face for the first time in eight years... but at least Thomas and Luke will be there, the three of us toured together last year, so we are really good friends and I absolutely love Lauren and Caroline, they are some of the sweetest people that I have ever met in my life. The three of us get on really well, I'd even consider them two of my best friends, even though they don't know, the only secret that I really have... you know that I have a past with Brantley Gilbert... country music's very own bad boy outlaw.

After checking over everything one last time, and seeing that it's all in order, I lay down in bed and try to at least get some sleep because tomorrow is going to be a very busy and interesting day, to say the least and probably a little stressful as well.

But as much as I willed sleep to come, it just wouldn't, so I spent two hours just staring at my ceiling until my phone went off, I knew that it was Amy being my wake up call, like she always does before we start a new tour. "Hey, Amy."

She sounded surprised, "Wow, Kels that was fast."

I just let out a little chuckle, "yeah well I didn't sleep last night so I was already awake."

I can hear the concerned tone in her voice, "Kels, why didn't you sleep?"

"oh, you know the pre-tour jitters. I get excited and it keeps me from sleeping. I don't see why I need to explain this every time." Okay so I lied to her just a little bit, there it wasn't the nerves for the tour this time it was the nerves of seeing B again.

I heard her sigh, ""well get dressed and meet everyone at the buses. I'll see you in a little while."

"Bye, Amy see you in a bit." After we hung up, I got up and got dressed, in a pair of sweatpants, and at this point I don't really care that the shirt that I have picked out is one of B's old ones that I just so happen to have stolen back when we were still together. It's an old UGA shirt that at one point it was his favorite shirt until I stole it, I am pretty sure that he still to this day doesn't know I stole it because I took it right before I left to have something that still smelled like him for a while. I know that probably sounds cheesy but I don't care it helped at the time.

After I finished getting dressed, I pulled on a jacket and zipped it up halfway, grabbed my bags and my guitar, and headed out to my truck. I put my stuff in the back and climbed into the driver's seat and headed off to the meet up place where Amy texted me.

It took me about ten minutes to get there, but I pulled into the parking lot, and parked my truck beside of Amy's car, and got out, walking around the truck to grab my stuff out of the back, as Amy walked over to me as I was walking towards the group gathered around, I see Luke, Thomas, Cole and then I see B's back facing me... good that means that he hasn't seen me yet... and it seems that the only other person not here yet is Tyler.

Amy gently pushed me towards the group, "Kels, why don't you go say Hi and introduce yourself, while we wait for Tyler, who should be here in a few minutes."

I rolled my eyes thinking, "Yeah I'll go 'introduce' myself alright' I leave my stuff at her feet "keep an eye on that will you?"

She nodded with a chuckle, "of course Kels."

I sucked in a breath and then blew it back out before steeling myself and walking toward the four boys, Luke is the first to noticed me walking up and he breaks out in a grin, that causes Thomas to look over to see what Luke was grinning at, he smiled as well once he saw that it was me.

I finally made it over to them, "Hey boys." Luke was the first to react and pulled me into a hug, "Kels! I didn't know you were joining us." .

Thomas chuckles "because you don't pay attention to the alerts, she was the last one added."

Cole smiled at me as well, "Hi Kelsey it's nice to see you again."

I nodded and smiled at him, "you too Cole." He guest-starred on the tour that I did with Luke and Thomas.

Then Thomas pulls me over between him and Luke, I swear those two became like protective older brothers to me since the moment I met them.

Then Luke smiled looking between me and B, and 'introduced' us, "Kelsey Reed, Brantley Gilbert, BG, Kelsey Reed, she toured with Thomas and me last year, and she's pretty cool."

I shot him a small smile, "Hi."

He let out a quiet chuckle, with his usual easy goin' smile on his face, "Hi, darlin'"

I smiled back, but on the inside I was mentally freaking out, 'oh my god... I am so freaking screwed.' But before anyone could say anything, my phone went off and I checked the ID and it showed a goofy picture that Amber and I took the last time I was home and we hung out.

I answered her call without hesitation, "Hey, girl thank god."

She laughed, "I just wanted to check in see how things were going because tour starts today"

I can feel the eyes over the four boys on me but at this moment I don't care "I love you so much right now... you know that A?"

She laughed again, "why?"

I could feel the boys staring at me right now but they can wonder what this is about all they want, because I won't budge on it and tell them because that would reveal everything which I really don't want to do.

I let out a relieved sigh, "because, you just saved me from the most awkward conversation of the decade..."

She once again laughed, making me roll my eyes... I am so glad that she finds my predicament funny. "oh my god, so you're there right now?"

"Yeah."

I can hear the smirk in her voice, "and?"

I let out a sort of nervous laugh, "I will get back to you on that..."

she laughed once again and I can practically feel the smirk on her face right now "meaning that you are so screwed?"

I bit my lip, with a sigh "you know me so well..."

"Of course I do Kels, it'll be alright but I got to go and get to work but keep me updated on how things turn out yeah?"

I couldn't help but smile slightly, "of course A, I'll talk to you later." After hanging up the phone, I shook my head, looking at Luke who was to my right, "I love her."

Luke shook his head at me, "Who?"

I just smirk at him being as vague as I possibly can be about the subject "that's my girl, she's one of my best friends"
