February 2nd came pretty fast and before I knew it was time to pack for the four-month tour.

It is currently 3 am and I can't sleep so I am going over everything that I need for the what seems like the hundredth time, I can't help it I'm a little nerve racked at the moment in two hours I will be seeing him for the first time in 8 years but at least Thomas and Luke will be there the three of us toured together last year so we are really good friends and I love Lauren and Caroline they are some of the sweetest people that I have ever met in my life. The three of us get on really well, I'd even consider them two of my best friends even though they don't know the only secret that I have.

You know that I have a past with Brantley Gilbert country music's very own bad boy outlaw. 

After checking over everything on last time and seeing that its all-in order I lay down and try to get at least some sleep because tomorrow is going to be a very busy and interesting day to say the least.

As much as I willed sleep to come it just wouldn't, so I spent two hours just staring at my ceiling then my phone goes off I know it's Amy being my wake-up call like she always does before we start a new tour.

"Hello"

She sounds surprised "wow Kels that was fast"

I let out a little chuckle "yeah well I didn't sleep last night, I was already awake" 

I can hear the concern in her voice "why didn't you sleep?"

"oh, you know pre-tour jitters. I get excited and it keeps me from sleeping I don't see why I need to explain this every time"

Okay so I lied to her just a little bit it wasn't the nerves for the tour this time is was the nerves of seeing B again. "well get dressed and meet everyone at the buses. I'll see you in a little while" 

"Bye Amy" Once we hang up I get dressed in a pair of sweat pants and at this point, I don't even care that the shirt that I have picked out is one of B's old ones that I just so happen to have stolen back when we were still together.

It's an old UGA shirt at one point it was his favorite shirt until I stole it, he still to this day doesn't know I stole it because I took right before I left to have something that still smelled like him for a while.

I pull on a jacket and zip it up halfway and grab my bags and guitar and head out to my truck putting my stuff in the back and climb into the driver's seat and head off to where Amy texted me to meet everyone at. 

Five minutes later I pull into the parking lot and park my truck beside of Amy's car and get out walking around the truck to grab my stuff out of the back she walks up to me as I am walking towards the group gathered around I see Luke, Thomas, and Cole and I see B's back facing me good that means he hasn't seen me yet, seems the only other person not here yet is Tyler.

Amy pushes me towards the group "go say hi and introduce yourself while we wait on Tyler who should be here in a few minutes" 

I roll my eyes thinking 'Yeah I'll go 'introduce' myself alright'  leaving my stuff at her feet "keep an eye on that will you?" 

She chuckles "of course Kels"

I blow out a breath before walking towards the four boys Luke is the first to notice me walking up and breaks out in a grin that causes Thomas to look up to see what Luke was looking at, he smiles too once he sees it's me.

I join them "hey boys" Luke is the first to react and pulls me into a hug "Kels! Didn't know you would be joining us" 

Thomas chuckles "because you don't pay attention to the alerts, she was the last one added"

Cole smiles "Hi Kelsey its nice to see you again" 

I nod at him with a smile "you too Cole" he guest-starred on the tour I did with Luke and Thomas. Thomas pulls me over between him and Luke, I swear those two became like protective older brothers to me since the moment I met them.

Then Luke "introduces" B and I "Kelsey Reed, Brantley Gilbert, BG, Kelsey Reed, she toured with Thomas and me last year, she's cool" I shoot him a small smile "Hi"

He lets out a chuckle with this easy goin' smile on his face "Hi darlin'" 

I smile back but on the inside, I'm mentally freaking out 'oh god I am so screwed.' Before anyone can say anything, my phone goes off and I check the ID it shows this goofy picture that Amber and I the last time I was home and we hung out.

I don't even hesitate to answer "Hey, thank god" 

She laughs "I just wanted to check in see how things were going because tour starts today" 

I can feel the eyes over the four boys on me but at this moment I don't care "I love you so much right now... you know that A?" 

She laughs again "why?" the boys are all staring at me right now but they can wonder what this is about all they want but I won't budge on it.

Let out a relieved sigh "You just saved me from the most awkward conversation of the decade"

She laughs again... I am so glad that she finds my predicament funny "oh my god you're there right now?" 

"Yep"

I can hear the smirk in her voice "and?" 

I let a sort of nervous laugh "I'll get back to you on that"

she laughs and I can practically feel the smirk on her face right now "meaning that you are so screwed?"

I bite my lip sighing "you know me so well"

"Of course I do Kels, it'll be alright but I gotta go get to work but keep me updated on how things turn out yeah?"

I smile slightly "of course A, I'll talk to you later"

After hanging up the phone I shake my head looking at Luke to my right with a chuckle  "I love her" 

He shakes his head at me "Who?" 

I just smirk at him being as vague as I possibly can be about the subject "that's my girl, she's one of my best friends"
