Chapter Eight

Ben looks at me smugly shaking his head "No way I don't believe you.... prove it Kels, show it to me." 

I smirk at him and lift my shirt up and turn to the side where he can see right there on my ribs it says 'If Lost Please Return to Brantley Gilbert' in a pretty cursive font.

I see the look on B's face which makes me burst out laughing at the look of pure shock on his face. 

Then Ben looks at me "oh my god you seriously got it?"

I give the boy a look "Ben... Seriously? You should have known that I would do it just because of the simple fact that you said I wouldn't... honestly it's like you don't know me at all..."

He just stares at me wide-eyed mouth hanging open kinda like B is right now... I was very amused by these reactions. I drop the shirt before looking at Kolby "boy you are so lucky that my phone rang when it did... I was about five seconds from coming over there and beating you."

Before Kolbs can quip back Thomas looks at me "so you and BG went out?" 

I roll my eyes as everyone well almost everyone turns their attention to me "yeah on and off from '01 to '08... No use hiding it now but before that, we were best friends since the age of 6" I shoot a glare at Kolby as I get hit with a shitload of memories from before when B and I were just best friends and after we started dating as well.

He gives me an innocent smile, I roll my eyes innocent my ass.

B and I spent the next hour and a half answering questions about us because our friends hadn't even suspected that we had met before this morning and then B had to go on stage.

After B, Mama and Kolbs are out of the room, Luke and Thomas being the only ones left in the room look at me "so what happened between the two of you?"

I let out a sigh biting my lip slightly trying to figure the best way to answer the question, deciding to just be honest about it "I loved him... Hell, I still love him, if I'm being honest but back then he always neck-deep in a bottle of booze or pills or hell sometimes even both, I had watched him relapse twice and..." I can feel the tears welling up in my eyes it always hurts to think about the pain that he went through "and I couldn't sit back and watch the love of my life... Because he was hell I don't know maybe still is the love of my life, but that's beside the point, I couldn't watch him destroy himself with the booze and the pills anymore so I left... I thought maybe it might make him realize that he was killing himself every time he picked it up. Then he got big you know and everyone thought that he was talking about Amber in his music because they were together when he first started getting big in the industry and he just let them assume it was true, even though I am very well aware that it's always been about me... Now either one if you tell him I said any of that I will get your wives on my side and the three of us will gang up on you... and make your lives hell."

Their eyes widen "yes ma'am" 

I smirk oh having that power over them is so nice because they know I'll do it and unlike Kolby, they will actually listen when I threaten them. Lauren and Caroline will happily team up with me against their husbands and annoy the shit out of them. 

My phone rings and I smiled seeing that it was Kasey, who is my twin sister, "what's up sis?" 

The first thing I hear as I answered was, "Kelsey Nicole Reed... Tell me why I am finding out you're on tour with B from Amber instead of directly from you my twin?"

I internally winced, damn I knew I was forgetting something... shit, "I'm so sorry Kase like I have been so busy just freaking out about it that I didn't even think to call you and I'm so sorry... I'll make it up to you I promise." 

"Oh Kels, you better," I can now hear the smirk in her voice "well did you get it from Mama B?" 

I let out a chuckle "Oh yeah, Kase, Mama Becky got me real good."

She grins I can just feel it "Okay well, next time call me, please??? I got to go I have dinner plans tonight."

I chuckled at that, "Okay I'll talk to you later Kase I promise, and Like i said I'll make that up to you at some point." 

"You better." She hangs up oh god how could I have forgotten to call my own sister about being on tour with B? God she is going to give me hell for that for a while I can already tell. The thing about my twin sister is that Kasey does not let things go easily that is coming from years of experience living and growing up with her.

B and Kels past is out in the open amongst their friends on tour, Kels opened up a bit to TR and LB about her break up with BG and I introduced Kasey who is Kelsey's fraternal twin sister, I plan on doing a story for her that will tie in with BG and Kelsey I'm still deciding who Kasey will be paired with for her story. 

Edit: It's gonna Be Justin Moore that Kasey is paired with, in her story.  (which I still plan to write as it's one of my published books)
