THE FUTURE

Boom! Everything came into focus.

"Holy shi-" Marty started but I covered his mouth.

"Just take it all in." I said. This was the future. Cars flew around and people wore the strangest things. We got out of the car and walked around.

"Damn." Marty and I both mumbled. He dragged me to the nearest library to look himself up. We went to the newspaper section.

Young man declares dreams demolished after a head on collision with Rolls-Royce.

McFly brakes hand in collision with a Rolls-Royce. Currently rehabilitating in local hospital.

Owner of Rolls-Royce pressing charges against McFly for damage to his car.

Marty gasped, all these articles were from October 27 1985, there weren't any recent ones which means he never did anything special and was not a famous guitarist.

We went to the front desk and asked for more info on Marty McFly, the woman looked him up on her huge computer. Nothing but scanned in copies of the Rolls-Royce papers were there.

"I'm sorry you two but there's not much for him." She said then eyed Marty suspiciously, "you look a lot like him, you his kid or somethin'?" She asked.

"Well uh, yeah I, I am, yeah that's my pop." Marty said as he pointed at the older profile of himself on the screen. He looked to me, then snapped his head back to eye himself again, Marty shivered.

I gaped at the image of a middle-aged Marty looking into the camera, proper suit, double ties. He looked so worn, tired. . . old.

The woman at the counter coughed to get us out of our trance. I jumped and Marty leaned back on the table, looking into space not able to process what he saw.

"While we're here can you look up Macey Henderson?" I asked, now curious of how I looked.

"I suppose you're her daughter." The librarian mumbled.

"Yes ma'am." I said and watched as a picture of me appeared on the screen. I covered my mouth, I looked as equally run down as Marty. I wore an electric blue floral dress. I couldn't take it, I didn't care about any articles of me, I ran out and dragged Marty with me. I didn't want to know anything else about this future.

"I gotta know where I live." Marty said when we got to the clock tower park.

"What?! No we can't! We have to go back to our time. We can't stay here." I say and Marty begins to pout.

"I want to see what job I have." He whined.

"Marty, come on, let's look around." I said and grabbed his hand. We walked into the wondrous world of the future.

Marty went to the nearest coffee shop to find his address, I told him not to but he wouldn't listen. So here we are, Marty driving the DeLorean, headed to his future home. He looked terrified, I didn't blame him, but I was not feeling much and I didn't know what to expect. Then something turned on and I heard Doc's voice.

Hello there time travelers, Dr. Emmett Brown here to tell you NOT to run into your future self, this could rupture the space time continuum. Causing a chain reaction that could destroy the entire galaxy! Or you could just pass out. . . Remember to-

Marty looked at me with wide eyes, we were probably thinking the same thing. Holy shit!

Marty had his eyes off the road for too long and we swerved off, crashing into a ditch. Marty slammed his head off the steering wheel, I hit my head against the side window and then everything was silent.
