"Lacy! Your gonna be late!" "I'm coming!" I yelled. It was a cloudy afternoon, and I was headed to a birthday party. My best friend Robin was turning 11. I was so excited. Her birthday was Tuesday, so she couldn't have her party until the weekend. But she told me at school, her parents got her a puppy! We came up with some names for her, on the bus, and we decided on Midget. But Robin calls her Midge.
Or Midgey. I haven't seen her puppy yet, but I've seen I picture. She's so cute! She's small enough to fit perfectly in Robin's arms. She's caramel brown, and white. Anyway, I was in pants, a cute top, a sweatshirt, and those super cute hats that don't like cover your whole head, and kind of droop down a little. I also had my hair in a side ponytail. I had caramel hair just like Robin's puppy. And dark brown eyes. I slipped on my sparkly shoes, and rushed downstairs. I grabbed Robin's present and sat in the car, where my mom was waiting. We starting driving to Robin's house.
