Chapter Fifteen

Y/n POV

So today was an eventful day, I did the first table read for the new movie and I found out I working with Asher Angel, like fuuuuuck. Sorry, trying not to be a fan girl, that much. He's actually a really nice guy and theirs no need to be fan-girling about him, he's just really genuine. Also the actor that plays my brother Joel is really nice, this is his first movie as well so we can talk about our nervous jitters together. It's the second day and today we're running the lines on set, we gotta know what we're doing in different locations and what we gotta say so it's fun. We're waking through lines right now at the high school location when I get a call "sorry" I say, I look at the contact and it says Millie.

"Hey Millie what's up?"

Millie📞
"Not much, I'm not bothering you right now am I?"

Y/n📞
"Uhhhhhh, just a little bit, we just running through lines"

Millie📞
"Ok I'll make this quick. I'm doing some press tours in Vancouver right now and I'll be here for 2 weeks"

Y/n📞
"Really Millie that's amazing!"

Millie📞
"So I was just wondering if you'd want to meet up"

Y/n📞
"Yea yea of course, ummmmmmm, are you in Vancouver right now? Cause if you are, you come visit me on set?"

Millie📞
"That'd be amazing! Just text me the address and I'll see you maybe tomorrow?"

Y/n📞
"Yea yea ok see you tomorrow "

Millie📞
"Mwah"

Yay, it's so great to see Millie, it's been about 6 months since we've seen other. It's sad cause we've been so busy lately, the times we see each other are for interviews for stranger things. I put my phone back in my pocket and focus back on running lines. Most of the scenes so far have been with me and a/t/l/l/y, but other scenes have been with a girl that was casted for my best friend Skye, played by Storm Reid. I loved her in A Wrinkle in Time, and so happy we get to work together. We're filming this in December and my god, it's cold in Vancouver, like, it's great to be here for Christmas and New Years, but it's sooooo cold. Like I'm kinda glad I live in Australia cause it never gets this cold, we've just finished running lines at the high school and me, Asher and a/t/l/l/y are heading over to the set of my house to get prepared before we start filming, "hey y/n you think when we're done you wanna get some Dairy Queen?" Asher asked "Uh sure, you wanna invite a/t/l/l/y?" I asked "I already asked him and he said he had plans" he said "yea ok cool" I said then we focused back on what we were doing.

«time skip to when they leave for ice cream»

After a long day of preparing for filming tomorrow, Asher and I leave for Dairy Queen. "You know I've never had Dairy Queen before" I said to Asher, he snapped his head towards me "what!" He said louder causing some stares from people on the street "how have you've never had Dairy Queen?" "Well I was always busy and they don't have it in Australia" I answered his question "ok ok, but still" he said laughing "but I've heard people say it's really good so now it better live up to its standards" I said and we stopped out front of Dairy Queen. Asher open the door for me and I kindly thanked him, we stood in line and looked at the different flavours "since this is your first time, I think we should get ice cream and a blizzard" he said looking at me, I nodded and continued to look at flavours.

"I think I'm gonna get chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream, and a frosted fudge brownie blizzard" I said, we can up to order and Asher said to find somewhere to sit down, I found a booth near a window but not too close, we sat down while we waited "I swear after eating this, imma get diabetes" I said and we both laughed "yea same" he said and we chuckled a little more. We heard our number get called and Asher went over, while I waited I looked through instagram but my head immediately shot up when I heard a familiar voice. I looked around paranoid that he's here, "hey, hey y/n" Asher said, I saw him looking at me with a worried look in his face "you alright?" He asked "yea yea, I just thought I heard someone" I said, he nodded and put down our stuff "so you should try the blizzard first" he said, I reached out for it and grabbed the spoon "wait wait wait" he said "what?" I asked confused "so you probably don't know but, blizzards have a reputation for how frozen they are, apparently if you tip it upside down noting comes out" he explained "ok" I said "wait could you record me doing to and I'll post it on insta?" I asked "yea sure". I handed Asher my phone and our hands slightly touched but I felt a way of electricity run up my arm, I felt my checks heat up and Asher quickly grabbed my phone and quickly looked away as his checks heated up as well. He recorded me and I posted like how I said.

He wanted to do the same thing for him and I recorded him tipping his blizzard upside down. He put his phone away I heard another familiar voice, again I look around trying to find it, my eyes stopped and another booth and I saw him, his black curly hair, I started to get nervous, I looked for another second and noticed that he was with two other people that looked very familiar. He with Nick and Quincy. I wanted to look a second longer but Quincy said something to him and he spun his head around. Our eyes meet, I felt small tears from in my eyes and I quickly turned back to Asher wiping them away "hey you ok?" Asher asked he said resting his hand on mine "uh yea, I just got something in my eye" I said, he nodded and continued talking about how tomorrow is gonna run.

I thought it'd be longer before I saw but, guess not now.

How am I gonna focus now, I was fine but now I'm just a nervous wreck.
