Chapter Sixteen

Finns POV

I can't believe that after 2 years, I'd see her. I knew the time was coming soon but I didn't know it'd be this close. I guess they've already started filming, it's annoying that I didn't get the part, but I'm glad y/n got it. And I'm guessing the boy sitting with y/n is a co star if the movie. When our eyes meet, even though it was for a second, I saw the pain she was in, and I caused that, I did that to her. Not a day went by that I didn't feel like such a asshole for what I did. I just want to make things right.

"Dude isn't that y/n?" Nick asked quietly "yea it is" I said taking a sip of my drink "why's she here and who is she with?" Quincy asked "well they've probably starting filming for Fireflies and I'm guessing that is her co star" I said looking at both of them, they nodded and looked back at each other "are you gonna talk to her?" Nick asked, I shrugged and looked back at y/n, the boy sitting with her put his hand on hers, the fuck is he doing, I turned back to Nick and Quincy before jealousy took over me "he need to get his hands off her" I mumbled. The rest of the time we were there, Nick and Quincy were trying to come up with ideas to talk to her, I tried to ignore it but it's too annoying "hey hey hey hey, Finn" Quincy said "they're leaving" I looked back and saw them both leave, I turned back to Nick and Quincy and I knew what they were thinking, I hopped out of my seat and ran to find y/n.

I quickly walked over to the door and looked around for y/n, "hang on a sec, I forgot my phone" someone said, I turned to where the voice came from and saw y/n walking this way. "Hey y/n" I waved very nervous, she stopped, she pulled a weak smile and said "hey Finn" she pushed the door back open and walked in to get her phone. She came back and waved to me "bye" she said, I got a hold of her wrists "what the heck Finn?" Y/n asked annoyed "can I just talk to you for a second" I asked, she shook her hand out of my grip "you have 1 minute" "ok ok" I said then took a big breath in. As soon I was about to start talking "hey y/n" someone called out, y/n and I both looked back to see the boy she was sitting with was waking towards us "hey Asher" y/n said that sounded awkward "who's this?" He asked "I'm Finn" I said confidently "ohhh so your her ex" he said with a smug look on his face, I saw y/n roll and eyes and I scoffed "so we better get going" Asher said "it was nice meeting you" he pulled in her arm "Asher sorry, Finn said he'd take me back to my place" y/n said, I looked up and saw Asher had jealousy all over his face "oh ok, I'll see you tomorrow then" Asher said then walked away, "bye" y/n waved then turned back to me.

"So I guess I'm walking you home" I said then laughed a little "I guess" y/n smiled then started walking. For the rest of the walk home, even though it was a little awkward, it was nice talking to y/n again. I've missed it so much.
