Chapter Eighteen

Y/n POV

Having Millie and Finn at set today had been really fun, they've both become friends with a/t/l/l/y which is great, we messed around at the high school set, which was fun. They're still a bit iffy about Asher but, he's just been a dick all day. We're done filming for the day, most of today was spent filming at the school but now we're all in the mini van heading back to the set where we film everything else and where our trailers are. "Hey I just realised, Finns it's your birthday in two days" Millie said turning back in her seat to face Finn, "oh yea" I said looking back at him "fun" he said sarcastically "but don't you have a concert that night?" I asked, he nodded "you guys wanna come? Apparently after the concert, a bunch of my friends are coming and my parents had a whole cake made specially for me" he said with a smile in his face after he mentioned cake "ok yea I'm only coming for the cake" I said than laughed "hey" Finn said and hit my arm lightly "just kidding" I said. "So you guys coming?" He asked "of course, we wouldn't miss it" Millie said than we both moved back to our original position.

We made it back and Paige was waiting there for Millie, "bye guys" she hugged us and walked over to her car. Than that just left Finn and I, Asher left while we were still on the school set which was good. "Soooo" I said breaking the silence between us "so" he said back. Laughter broke up between us "what's wrong with us?" I asked still laughing "I don't know" he said. We eventually stopped laughing and calmed down, "hey do you wanna just hang out in my trailer, it's getting really cold?" I ask Finn "yea sure" he said and we headed over to my trailer. Luckily it's warm inside, 10 minutes past and I'm still waiting for my mum. "I'm gonna just call her again" I said to Finn annoyed and walked out of my trailer. I walked down the steps and sit down on the bottom one, I dial her number and wait for her to pick up. Sadly she doesn't "fuck" I cursed under my breath and walk angrily back to my trailer. I step in and see Finn also on the phone, I close the quietly and sat back down. Once he was finished he turned to me, "didn't answer?" He asked "nope" I said. "Well I was just talking to Nick and he's almost here to pick me up, you can chill at my place and try call your mum again?" He asked but more sounded like a suggestion, I was unsure about weather to go to Finns place or not "but when we get to my place, Nick will be setting up for a stream, so if you like we could chill with Nick and the steam" Finn said interrupting my thoughts "yea" I said "I-I'll just text my mum saying that I'm at your place" I said and we walked out of my trailer and waited for Nick to arrive.

«time skip to when you arrive at Finns place»

We arrived at Finns house and, it seems a little small. I expected his house to be a little bigger since Finn and Nicks parents has two boys, but it's cute. "So this is my place" Finn said as he got out of Nicks car and walked to the front door, as soon as we walked in we heard a someone running down the stairs "why the fuck did you take so long" the person asked running down the stairs, that voice sounded very familiar "sorry Quincy, we have a guest" Nick called out to Quincy. "Oh" Quincy said looking at me "hey y/n" he said "hi" I waved, "ok let's go upstairs" Finn said, we all nodded and walked upstairs, Finn guided me to where they stream. "So this is the famous steaming room" I said looking around the small room "yep this is it" Nick said, I looked at the couch the was set in front on the t.v. "Uh are we all gonna fit on that?" I asked pointing to the couch "yea we will, it'll just be squishy"Quincy said making me laugh a little.

The seating order on the couch was Quincy, Nick, Finn and me, they decided for me to sit on the end of the couch that you couldn't see much of from the camera, I understand why, if any fans of Finns are watching and see us in the middle of it, they will start thinking things. Nick was setting up stream and we were all deciding what games to play "what about fornite?" Finn asked "no fornite is literally dead" Quincy said looking at Finn "do you guys have an N64?" I asked "uh yea we do, if you wanna play the games on that?" Nick asked typing something into the computer "if you guys wanna" I looked between the boys on my right "yea I'm down" Finn said "ok cool I'll set it up" Nick said. Nick was just about ready to start streaming when I started to get thirsty "I'm thirsty can one of you guys show me to the kitchen" I asked "yea I'll come, I'm kinda thirsty as well" Finn said getting up from his seat and waiting for me to meet him at the door way. I started to walk down the stairs and looked back and noticed Finn not behind me, I heard him talking with Nick and Quincy about something, as bad as I'm wanted to listen, I figured it'd be best as they could be talking about something weird. "Finn" I called for him, "coming" he said and I laughed, as he came running the stairs.

He showed me to his kitchen, and to be honest, his house was kinda small. Like I've been to Millie's house in Atlanta, and it's big. But Finns house is small and cozy, pretty cute. "So you want water, lemonade, juice, soda?" Finn asked looking through the fridge "just a water please" I said, he pulled out two water bottles and handed one to me "thanks" I quietly thanked him, we stood against the kitchen counters for a bit, just enjoying each other's presents. "So has your mum texted you back?" Finn asked taking a sip from his water "lemme check" I said getting my phone out of my pocket, I couldn't feel it in my pocket so I checked the other pocket of my jeans "you alright" Finn asked "yea I might've just left my phone upstairs" I said freaking out a little, Finn nodded and was about to say something just was interrupted by Nick "hey Finn, get back up here!" He yelled. "Well we better get back up there" Finn said "yea let's go" I said and we walked back upstairs, we got to the door and stopped "you good?" I asked unsure why we're just standing out front of the room "quite" Finn said softly, I nodded but still confused why, Finn was mouthing something to Nick "ok guys I just have to turn the screen off for a second and we'll be right back" Nick said talking to to the stream "why is he doing that?" I whispered to Finn "so when we go back in, the stream doesn't see you" Finn said back "oh ok" I said. Nick motioned with his hands to say come back in "dude what was taking so long?" Quincy asked "oh we were just talking" Finn said "really? We know your history" Quincy smirked, I rolled my eyes and said "Quincy we were just talking" "ok ok" Quincy said putting his hands up in defence, I walked back over to couch and sat on the end to see my phone was laying their "oh and y/n your phone kept getting notifications while you were out in the kitchen" Nick said "oh thanks" I said.

I picked my phone and saw the notifications, "who is it?" Finn asked, i take another glance and see mixed notifications between my mum and a good friend of mine Zach, who I've been getting closer to "uh just my mum" I said quickly "cool" Finn said. I went into my phone and read the messages from my mum first, she said that she sorry for not picking me up cause she was out with friends that she's met while we've been in Vancouver, and asked if I could stay at Finns place, ugh seriously mum. Then I looked at the messages Zach has been sending me. He's a friend a met through school, he's really nice and I think we both have small feelings for each other, but I don't even know how I feel now with the whole Finn situation, I thought I wouldn't see him till later, and now we're back to being friends. Ughhhhh, why are feelings so confusing. "Hey Finn" I said quietly still remembering what he said earlier "yea what's up" he said turning to me "my mum said it's cool that I'm here but she asked if I could stay here over night. Is that ok?" I asked "let me check" Finn said then turned to Nick whispering everything to him "yea y/n, you can stay tonight" Nick said to me looking over Finn "Nick you idiot" Quincy said annoyed "what dude" Nick asked, Quincy began whispering to Nick and slowly Nick realised what he did. "Fuck" I mumble leaning back into the couch.

Slowly but surely the fans on the stream also realised  what Nick had just said, "now the fans are actually wondering if y/n is really here" Finn said reading things from the chat "you wanna say hello?" Finn asked me quietly "sure, everyone knows I'm here anyway so let's just give them confirmation" I said. Finn moved over so I could fit in the webcam "hey guys" I waved to the stream. Immediately the chat was filled with questions why I was here but it's best if we ignore them right now.
