Namjoon had lifted Jimin bridal style and told all of them to just head to their bedrooms. It had been scary, as if something had possessed their leader. It was strange that Yoongi didn't do anything, he just sat there as things revolved around him. Jungkook was then ushered by Jin to his bedroom, and that's where he stayed.

He had seen Jimin cry before, he had been a cry baby himself, but he had never seen Jimin cry like he had in their living room. The despair had been overwhelming and Jungkook couldn't help but wonder if there was more to the story. Could that explain Yoongi's strange behaviour? What had happened? Namjoon had talked to the company and had driven Jimin to Busan that very night. Hoseok had packed Jimin's things and Jungkook had seen them drive off from his window. If things looked bad, things got worse.
Between their now very tight schedules; and now he had most of Jimin's sining parts, Jungkook was overwhelming tired. Between his work and Jimin's share he was truly exhausted, he wondered how in the world did Jimin balanced everything he did; and still find it in himself to give them his time and affection.

He missed him, truly he missed him and the rest of the members. There was this cloud that seemed to engulfed them and Jungkook hated it. He hated the hole Jimin left in their lives and he hated himself for making Jimin to do that. As much as the staff tried cheering them up; it wasn't the same. Jimin had been the string to the aimless kites in a storm. He was stringless.

Jimin had said that he had fallen in love with his fearlessness, but it had been Jimin's constant praise and support for him that had made him feel invincible. He now felt small again without his small hyung. Jimin was his catalyst: his starter and the force that drove him.

Jungkook sat at the edge of his bed, he forgot about time, and schedules, and everything he was meant and supposed to be doing. Jimin's cries still echoed and rang in his ears. It left a bitter after taste at the back of his throat. Jungkook cried and cried until the tears stopped flowing, and he stayed frozen in his head. When he had gone to Taehyung for comfort and perhaps do some comforting, his lover had refused to see him.

Loving Taehyung was easy and effortless. He didn't have to do or not do anything; he could just exist. He liked that, it was like singing for him, where he started and ended with Taehyung.

Yet he couldn't help but think of Hoseok's love confession for Yoongi at the restaurant. Jimin's sentiments echoed Hoseok's words imprinting them into his mind. He felt confused and lonely with all of his hyungs retrieving into their own corners.

Hoseok came to him first, it didn't take long for even Jin to come after him. He felt better knowing that at least that hadn't changed. But Namjoon, Yoongi, and Taehyung had changed. Namjoon was quiet towards him, but polite and would encourage him to rest and take care of himself. Yoongi barely talked to anyone, he kept to himself, but once in a while he would talk to Hoseok the most. Then there was Taehyung. His lover did everything in his power to avoid him, he would talk to everyone and anyone but him. Completely shutting him out, and Jungkook wondered if this was what Jimin had felt. It hurt a lot.

Two weeks went by of this hellish existence. He would work until he passed out but he'd rather do that then the alternative which was to lay on bed staring off into space.

"Come out for fresh air." Jin begged, which made him think of Jimin.

Jimin often voiced his concern with him staying cooped up his room all day. Truth was that Jungkook liked the solitude. Had always been surrounded by people and even the members could be too much. He was still shy and it took a lot out of him to be in the presence of people. Not that he didn't enjoy the company or enjoyed spending time with them; it was just exhausting. And now he was more than exhausted.

"Okay," Jungkook said agreeing for Jimin's sake.

So that's how Jungkook ended up sitting on the patio watching the sun go down when Taehyung took the empty seat next to him.
