Chapter 3

"Tazune, it's wonderful to see you and you made great time as well." I smiled, pulling the older male into a hug.
"You as well you as well, I got your letter so the boys and I headed out straight away, not wanting you to wait" Tazune explained.
"Come on I will show you to the area you will be working with, I will clean it and such but most of it is cleaned up and the trees and materials are already there as well" I explained and he nodded.
"While I'm here the wave villages lord has asked me to ask about a treaty for ninja assistance as well as trades and such" Tazune told me.
"That's fine, some ninjas from the hidden leaf will be coming to help as well" I said and he nodded as we got to the place with his builders with him.

"Here this is where the old homes used to be, yesterday while going around I asked about whose house was where and how many lived in each so you could build them based on what people need" I said and he nodded.
"Right boys let's get to work" Tazune called to the other builders that were with him.
"How about I help first? You must be Kuroki, Hokage-sama sent me" a voice said and I turned to see a brown haired guy there.
"Yes I am and you are?" I asked, holding my hand out for a hand shake.
"I am Yamato," the man introduced and I nodded as we shook hands.
"Are you helping with building?" Tazune questioned.
"In a way, I have wood release so I can manipulate wood so I am going to put up the basic structures for the houses made of solid wood. After that I am afraid I have to leave on a mission" Yamato replied.
"That help is better than no help, after all, with that our building will be cut by at least a month" I smiled and he nodded as he got to work. Tazune and the builders decided to go off exploring and seeing Mei about a treaty and trades while I stayed there cleaning the area so Yamato could put the rest of the houses up.
"Thank you for the help really I mean it" I thanked and he nodded.
"Oh Asuma and Hokage-sama told me to give this to you" Yamato remembered as he handed me a buddle before he left to find a hotel for the day as he would be leaving tomorrow. I was a little tired now and dirty seeing as I had been cleaning and Tazune and the other builders were now here planning out the walls and such with me helping as I put the bundle in my weapons pouch forgetting it was there all together until I got home that night.

"Were you the one to call those Wave villagers here as well as the one from the leaf?" Mei enquired as she Ao, Chojuro, Zabuza and Haku decided to eat dinner with me.
"Yeah, Ao explained yesterday about the homeless because of the war, the one from the Leaf village Yamato he has the wood release style jutsu like the first hokage. He made the structures of the houses, while Tazune and the ones from the wave village are normally bridge builders they know how to work with walls and floors therefore your builders can work on the furniture, plumbing and those things. They should be done within a month or so" I said while doing calculations in my head and they looked at me.
"But why? I mean no offence but this isn't your village, why would you care?" Ao asked.
"I can't exactly tell you why since I, myself don't know but I can't just stand back and watch families and people live on the street because of the war. They deserve better, why should they suffer for things that they have nothing to do with?" I asked, looking at them.
"I guess you're right, tomorrow my mist ninjas will be there to help as well, the sooner the houses are finished the better" Mei decided and I nodded, smiling gently at them.
"You know I think I have decided something" Zabuza announced out of the blue making us look at him.
"I am going to teach Kuroki anything and everything I know even swordsmanship" Zabuza continued.
"So am I" three voices called and we saw Haku, Chojuro and Ao looking at each other blinking.
"I guess you are all going to teach him and I guess if that is going to happen I may as well pitch in, it's the least we can do. After all we have trading and treaties with the wave village and the leaf now and I have a feeling that it wouldn't be possible without your help" Mei smiled and I was a little shocked that they all wanted to teach me.
"Really? I mean you don't have to. I am nothing special I am sure you would have gotten the treaties on your own" I tried to explain but they shook their heads.
"You are much more than special, you are something not even I have the words for" Zabuza said and I smiled gently.
"Okay then, if you're sure" I smiled gently at the floor.
"We will start tomorrow and trust me when I say you will want a nice night of sleep" Ao warned and I nodded.
"I will make sure to sleep as soon as I need to don't worry too much" I said and they smiled and nodded before they left and I was happy they were going to train me. Don't get me wrong I hadn't planned for them to train me. I was simply going to train by myself but it seemed like they were going to help me out now. I sat on my bed and closed my eyes and meditated before I went into a white circle room that had lots of doors around the outside but I headed straight for one and opened it.

When I got into the room I picked up the book that was sitting on a table and looked at it, my eyes widening a little in shock.
"This is interesting but why would the third Hokage not know about this......Araqid I want you to focus on Danzo and the other two on the civilian council" I ordered.
"Hai master, do you wish for me to leave this on the Hokage's desk?" Araqid enquired.
"No leave it for now I will deal with it, make sure you are and the others aren't overworking, every second day is a rest day remember so don't exhaust yourselves" I warned.
"You are too kind to us master, I shall remind the others" Araqid said and I was sure if a spider could smile he would be and I nodded.
"Thank you" I thanked before I opened my eyes and headed for a shower before heading to bed.

The next two months and so many weeks went by exhaustingly with me learning a lot of water jutsus from D ranked to SS ranked jutsus. Zabuza and Chojuro both taught me the art to kenjutsu while Haku realised since I had all five elements if I tried hard enough I could unlock the ability to use boil release and lava release like Mei so Mei taught me everything about them while Haku taught me all about medical ninjutsu.

"We are going to miss you alot" Ao declared as I stood at the mist gates, the others surrounding including the villagers seeing as they all seemed to love me and had piled me with gifts.
"I will miss you guys a lot but I promise I will visit so you don't have to worry and I will be back when Zabuza and Mei get married. Plus Chojuro and Haku are finally dating so I will be waiting for a wedding invitation, all you need is to find yourself a lover Ao" I teased making him laugh before he grabbed me in a large hug.
"Come here, you better take care of yourself, you hear me? Don't let anything happen and make sure to eat right" Mei said snatching me off Ao hugging me tightly making me smile a little and wonder if this is what it felt like to have a mother.
"My turn, you better use what we taught you gaki and make sure to stay out of trouble. You better make sure to write and if you are ever in trouble, you better let us know and I will be there in an instant" Zabuza demanded, nearly squeezing all the life out of me.
"Make sure not to get hurt too much but you know how to heal yourself now so make sure you eat a lot and, and," Haku started before getting teary and I smiled and hugged him making him sob into my shoulder.
"Everything is going to be fine Haku, don't worry too much you have your relationship with Chojuro to worry about" I chuckled while hugging him before moving to Chojuro.
"Make sure to keep your swordsmanship up......I don't know what the mist would have done if not for you, its like you have brightened this place up hopefully we can keep it that way" Chojuro said and I knew he wouldn't start the hug so I grabbed him and hugged him tightly.
"I will make sure to write, I have everything packed in my seals that I have taught myself. Konoha knows about my going to the Cloud next so do you, every week I will send a new letter with updates. I will remember to train and keep out of the way of every one and continue to do any missions you send me that are near the cloud okay?" I reassured them and they nodded before I waved my goodbye and headed off towards Kumo on a boat. It would take me at least about three days to get to the cloud, then I had to see the Raikage and hopefully get permission to look at their records. I had only been gone for three months but I missed my home and my friends. I even missed Mei, Zabuza, Haku, Chojuro and Ao and I had only left a few minutes ago but one thing was for sure this was going to be an adventure.
