Lauren's PoV
I woke up the next day to find the room was completely silent. I leant my head down to peer into the bottom bunk, and was met with a calm sleeping Camila. I smiled fondly at her, although she couldn't see, and clambered down the ladder to brush my teeth and hair. Thirty minutes later, when I was fresh and ready and dressed in warm clothing, I noticed the others had woken up. Marie and Anna were both dressed in silky thin pyjamas, something you'd find on a model like Kylie Jenner or Bella Hadid. Amanda had just woken up, and was attired in a white fluffy onesie. I avoided their gazes and headed towards my bunk, but when I did I almost fell straight to the floor.
Camila was sat up in her bed. Her long tan legs were clothed in a blue silk pair of shorts, and she wore a matching vest-top shirt. Her tan chest was evident and glowing, and you could see the several moles and freckles that adorned her skin.
She looked up from her phone after a few moments, and caught my wondering eyes.
"Morning." She smiled brightly. "You're up early."
I checked my phone and noticed it had only just turned 7 am.
"Yeah." I smiled back. "I got a lot of sleep last night."
"Glad to hear it." She smiled and stood up from her bed. My eyes followed along her long, tan legs, and up to her messy brunette hair.
She smiled as she walked past me, and locked herself in the bathroom, presumably to shower and get dressed.
Behind me, Anna and Marie were completely stripping from their clothes, and my eyes widened at their lack of privacy.
"Woah!" I shielded my eyes. "Do you wanna turn around or something?"
Marie rolled her eyes as she pulled on a pair of tight black jeans. "We're all girls here. Why should it matter?"
Anna nodded. "Yeah. It's not like any of us are lesbos or anything. That would be gross."
I stilled, but once I realised their eyes were on me, I put on a plastered smile. "Yeah. That would be."

An hour later, after we had all re-located into our groups, we boarded back onto the coach.
Shawn was unnecessarily loud for a Tuesday morning at 8am. He was belting the lyrics to a Taylor Swift song as the coach pulled out of the hotel, and I sighed gratefully when Camila politely asked him to be quiet.
I thought about yesterday when she had held my hand beneath the blanket, and how fast my heart had heated, and how much my body reacted to her touch. I didn't know what it was about Camila that had me so entranced. I'd had crushes on girls before, and yeah, they had been nice. But with Camila it was more than nice. It felt as if I was forever on cloud nine, as if my heart was constantly lifted by an invisible force, and the only things that mattered in the universe were her and I.
But did Camila think the same? She was twenty-three years old, and I was only seventeen. It wasn't that much of a gap, but for Camila's age she was extremely mature, and I felt as if I was just an immature teenager that got in her way. I wanted to talk to her about it. About us. But last time I did that, when I had gone to her apartment with the cupcakes Mom and I had made, it hadn't gone well. And, did I really want to bring such pressure upon Camila? I had no idea how far her feelings went for me, but I'm sure they weren't strong enough for her to risk us being together for the last six months of school.
Slightly saddened by my thoughts, I leant my head against Shawn's shoulder and closed my eyes, urging myself to sleep.
