"Saved" One-Shot (part 1)

this is a very stupid one-shot and yeah that's it lol

*Nagito's pov*

Everything is going to plan so far...

I've taped my mouth shut, cut both of my legs (well, more like stabbed), stabbed an arm...

... all I have to do is stab the knife into my hand and release the harpoon, and off goes the despair.

Now to wait for the fire to appear... 

I'm going to have to wait for a while...

*About thirty minutes later*

*Chiaki's pov*

I haven't seen Nagito all day, and he's usually pestering Hajime or me...

The only place he's been frequently was the warehouse and his own cottage...

He might be there waiting for someone...

... I think.

I start walking towards the fifth island (where the warehouse is), thinking if Nagito really is in there. He might not be, but it's worth finding out.

I wanted to see what was inside, so I looked through a window...

... only to discover a domino-style row of Monokuma cut-outs leading to what I can only assume is a start to a fire. I think. 

I run over to the entrance to the warehouse and try to slowly open the door.

Once the door is open, I pick up some Monokuma cut-outs and gently put them on the floor to not start the domino effect. 

I walk over to a curtain and pull on it. 

What could possibly be behind this curtain...

It might be weird, so just-

-Don't get so freaked out, Chiaki. 

I pull on the curtain harder. 

I hear a muffled noise.

Is there a person there?!

I pull on the curtain as hard as I can, and behind it revealed...

"Nagito?!"

I walk over and take off the tape on his mouth.

"S-surprise?"

"What the hell are you doing?! What were you going to do?!"

"I was, uh, doing a project!"

"...?"

"Fine, I'll tell you..."

As Nagito was telling me his plan to bring hope from falling despair, I start to untie him and heal his wounds.

We gradually start to talk about our favorite songs.

"So Nagito, what songs do you like, or what genres?"

"Uh, I'm starting to get into this song called "Oh Klahoma"... it's basically about a guy and a girl at a party, and he can hear her crying out through her eyes, but it turns out that the guy's the one who's crying internally, I guess..."

"...Cool! I really like music from video games. And electronic music a little."

"Uh, I like classical and a little jazz... other than that, I don't listen to music all that much..."

"Hmph. You should come over to my cottage and we can both listen to music together. We can listen to all types of genres, even the crummy ones, and the bad ones! How about that?"

*Nagito's pov*

Why am I starting to get flustered around Chiaki? 

There must be something wrong with me...

Not that Chiaki is a bad person or anything, it's just that, why would I be falling for her?

Oof.

I like it.

I mean, it's kinda bad, but eh

I'll continue this thing tomorrow because I like where it's going uwu
