I looked out the window. The sky was tar-black and the large clouds were moving towards me. I heard a tapping on the window and then it became a pitter-patter. People ran for cover outside and umbrellas were opened as the clouds spat out their beads of water. Puddles began plinking as the rainfall became heavier. The roofs of the cars danced with spray and I could hear the murmuring of the rain through the window. It sounded like the buzzing of angry bees.

It was that kind of weather in which you would enjoy it by spanding time with a cup of hot coffee or tea in your room. Curtains shut, and some calm music in the background.
However, for me it wasn't. Even though I would gladly enjoy doing that right know.

I didn't even knew where I was heading to, all I knew was that it was something big. My father, had some important business in which I was surprisingly implicated to, without an explanation, without my agreement.

All he said it was that I had to be ready till at least five pm o'clock and dress nicely enough to get everyone's attention-well, he didn't exactly said that, but that was obviously the intention. However, I couldn't even dress as I wanted to as he handed me a dress, which was glowing into the light, with a pair of fancy expensive pink-maroon high heels, which I'll never know where he borrowed them from. He picked up a outfit for me because he already knew I'll go with a oversized shirt and some jeans.

Hell no.

Admittedly, I looked down at them as I thought. They weren't that bad at all, I actually really loved the outfit, as I putted it on, I could swear I couldn't get my eyes off of me. It fitted exactly my waist, embracing my body till my hips area and flowing in the air. However, you could still see my really, high heels.

I looked down at them, asking myself if I could actually walk down the carpet wearing these. I was insecure I won't be able, and fall, honestly the last thing I wanted to do was to create a scene right there, and be watched by everyone, be pointed at while they laughed. You didn't had to be smart to guess where I was heading to dressed all up like this.
It was clearly a reunion- or even a party, with some important people , in which I didn't want to attend at.

I honestly looked snatched. I looked like a princess. However my makeup was soft and natural which was supposed to be done by one of the maids, I kindly refused as I did it myself. She insisted though, but I still refused.I didn't even knew her name, as she was probably new. I was clearly younger than her, I was seventeen and she was probably in her twenty's. She would've go for a cocky makeup anyways.

I knocked out of my daydreaming as I had dropped my head to the ground, playing anxiously with my bag.

I just wanted to stay home and watch a movie, anything else than this. I mumbled to- practically no one as I looked once again out of the window gazing at where I passed by. The car stopped, the traffic blocking our way and my bodyguard looked at me, worried through the mirror in front of him. He understood me and my wish, of just staying home and do nothing, however he couldn't do anything, neither go against my father in order to convince him to leave me behind.

"It's going to be okay, you do not have to do much." he insisted, trying to calm me down as he looked at me with a worried expression before glancing at the cars in front of him and groaning out of annoyance.

A soft smile spread on to my lips looking at him all grumpy and annoyed. He was kind and understanding. That's why I had been loving him and his company over everyone in the house out of all the heiress of our family, since day one.

I sighed and said nothing as I relaxed myself into the car seat and closed my eyes as the car started moving again, to the destination.

I glanced at my phone as it lighted and a notification popped on my screen seeing her name over it.

I smiled and immediately picked it, unlocking and going over my messages.

It was my best friend, name, Sooyung, but I called her Soo as It was much easier. She was nice and beautiful, I had the opportunity to meet her when I attended school in 4th class. I attended a public school at that time. She's one of the persons I want to keep close and never let go.

I grabbed all of my things and  Kai, helped me get out of the car. I gave him a slight, sincere smile, mumbling a thank you i didn't even think he heard.

He made sure he locked the car nodding his head he leaded me into a big building. I mentally face palmed as I was literally acting like I didn't even knew my own town. But honestly, I didn't quite knew it.

I stepped into a fancy and long hallway with a long crimson carpet, a scent I didn't quite figured out which screamed importance. The vibe that the building gave me made me shiver as I could feel all of the other people stares on me. My back was burning with their stares as I could feel them piercing through my body.

I carefully walked into the large room in which a lot of people were already gathered in, intertwining my hand with Kai's, I made my way to my parents, not wanting to get lost alone in there with a bunch of strangers.

I gotta be honest, I recognised a few of them as people my dad worked with and people I saw on the TV.

I was already face to face with the President and First lady, my parents as they were talking about something with a man dressed in a suit and black glasses over his eyes. His appearance screamed 'don't mess with me' as I kept my distance within me and him glancing over my mother as she was already looking at me, checking me out and than catching my glance, a smile curving over her face as she approached me slowly and I looked up at her. She was clearly taller than me.

A black beautiful long dress was embracing all of her body nicely. She was skinny and beautiful as her hair was up into a pony tail. Shining with its silk. Her makeup was done professionally, her lips were red and plump.
She greeted me kindly with a hug and smiled at me.

I smiled softly at her as I saw my dad going away, talking on the phone with someone. I sighed out of annoyance as he was always too busy with everything.

I walked up to a table, my mom going to sit beside me, as we started talking about different topics, like two best friends. That was our relationship. Quite different than mine and dad's.

I glanced around the room and sipped onto my glass of champagne, as my glance stopped somewhere, where my eyes caught interest.

It was a boy who was probably searching for someone in the room who just entered.
He was clearly young and his costume was expensive as his hair was arranged in a beautiful way. He was handsome too.

I moved my glance to my dad who had was in a rush, wearing a worried expression over his face as he spoke to a bunch of bodyguards. I was confused, but I let it be, not wanting to get my head into his business.

I started talking once again with my mom as she sipped from her glass of red wine. However, I couldn't quite understand what was she saying as I felt someone's stare on me, and when I looked up

My eyes caught view of the same boy glancing back at me,a faint smirk on his face, a knot creating into my stomach and my body froze under his stare.
