Chapter 5- The New Doctor

I woke up to the sound of my watch buzzing, indicating to me my shift was beginning. I sleepily open my eyes and realise exactly where I was, jimins arm still wrapped around my waist from the night previous. I softly lifted his arm and slid out from his grasp, luckily I was still in my same uniform so I began to get to work right away, the first thing on my to-do list was to collect his morning medication so I began to make my way down the corridor, I was looking at the ground trying to fix my messy hair by tucking it behind my ears in a low bun but suddenly I bumped into a tall, muscular man with broad shoulders and freshly washed jet black hair wearing a white medical jacket, I looked at him and realised I'd never seen this man once in my life.

I laugh to myself "Sorry, I'm really in a daze this morning, don't mind me...doctor?" He laughs in response "Oh yes, I'm new here! Hi, I'm Doctor Kim Seokjin, it's nice to meet you....?" I stared at him for a moment then promptly replied" Y/N! My name is Y/N", "Well its a pleasure to meet you Ms Y/N. Actually, I need your help. I've been assigned to a Mr. Park Jimin, do you have any idea where I could find him." I'm surprised by his statement, I had heard the Head Doctor may have been retiring but I thought it was merely a rumour, I guess not. "Yes, Jimin! I'm his assigned nurse." I reply to him with a beaming smile, he smiles back and I realise how beautifully sculpted his lips were, then I hear him say "Wow, he's a very lucky patient to have a beautiful woman like you take care of him!" I smile and look down at the floor, "I guess that means we may be seeing a lot more of each other." He smirks at me, "I guess so!" I reply kindly, then I make my over to grab the medication out of the cupboard and he calls me from down the corridor, "Y/N!" He says "I have to get Mr.Park a brain scan today, it's just to monitor his recent cerebral development to make sure nothing has worsened in his condition." I was a little worried but I just said
"Yes Doctor..uhm, follow me."

I lead him to Jimins room, medication in hand, as soon as I enter I see a huge beaming grin spread across his face and I reciprocate the joy, but it slowly faded as he saw Seokjin follow suit, he looked angry, maybe even a little...jealous? I try to brush it off and say "Jimin, this is Jin, he's your new doctor! He's here to take you for a cgi scan just to monitor your condition, nothing serious okay?"

He looks with a dead glance at Jin, then looks at me and says "Yeah, sure." I felt a cold shiver trickle down my spine, I try to contain myself and say "You both go ahead, I'll be right here when you get back. Good luck!" Then he nods at me and exits the room with Jin, not even saying goodbye..
