They walk along the beach, Lance can hear the voices of his friends talking, but he can't understand what they're saying. He just gazes off into the sparkling, blue, waves. He feels a warm hand on his back, touching the blue tee-shirt that cascades off his shoulder. "Hey, Lance are you okay?" Lance looks behind him. Keith is putting his hand on Lances back, He has an uncertain expression on his face. Everyone else goes quiet. Everybody stopped talking, this is my fault, isn't it?  "Yeah, I'm fine," Lance responded. Keith still looked confused. "Okay." They all kept walking and talking, but Lance's mind was still busy. He still felt attached to something that wasn't there. "Wow." Hunk utters. They all look up, The sun is bright, the sky like a painting, red and blue streaks splattered against the canvas of clouds and birds and any other flying objects. purple forming from these bright colors. The sun shines like a flaming ball of light in the sky. The orange light shows on the friends. It's like paradise.

Sand gets in everyone's shoes and clothes but nobody cares. They all talk about life, family, love. Lance finally doesn't feel attached to something, he finally feels in the moment, for the first time in months. The orange light fades until there's only purple, and a silvery-white dot in the sky. The water is quiet, Waves splash against the sand, its still, yet it feels like something is moving every second. The water is dark and deep. It's blue and heavy. "Guys, yawn, I think I'm going to go home. It's getting dark and I'm getting a little sleepy." Hunk says tiredly. "Same." Pidge agrees. "And I need to get home to Curtis." Shiro says. "Well okay, see you guys. Let's hang out more, this was fun." Lance responded. They all say their goodbyes. Its only Keith and Lance left. "Aren't you going home?" Lance says. "Well, I'm not tired and I don't have anything to do so-" "Ah, I see." They sit there, staring at the mesmerizing waves. "How have you been lately?" Lance built up the courage to say that question. "I've been good, we have been to so many planets helping people. It's honestly really inspiring." Keith smiles. "How have you been?" "Well I mean, It's been fine. But everyone's been off doing something important and I've just been cozy at the farm, I miss the adventure....Ya-Know?" Lance responded. Keith's smile faded into concern. "what about this, I can visit you more often and help out on the farm? We might be able to go to space one day if your really feeling that bad?" "Wait REALLY?!" Lance jumped up from excitement.  "I really really really really want to go back into space!" Keith giggled a bit at the sight of this excitement. "We cant now, but soon." Lance looked into Keith's purple eyes. They're like galaxies. Keith looked back into Lances eyes. He only saw calm oceans and stars. The both of them smiled soft at each other. They look at the ocean and just talk, for, who knows how long.

Lance walked down the grey, cobblestone, sidewalk. He smiled, looking down, hands in pockets. He thought about space the whole time he was walking home, His adventures, the bonds he's made with his teammates. He misses them already. He stops for a second, a flower field, not one of his, but, how have he never seen it before? He walks down the path into the clearing, Green, dewy, grass tickles his feet. All around there's flowers. Blue, purple, and pink flowers surround him. In the moonlight there colors are vivid. He plucks a blue flower and puts it in his pocket. He takes a moment to sit, calming his mind.

The small wooden door creaks and opens into the dark living room. Moonlight shows through the windows. He tip-toes into the kitchen and fills a vase with water. He places the blue flower into the vase and creeps quietly to his bedroom. He places the vase on the wooden, small, table next to his bed. "Why are you back at like, one in the morning?" Lance jumps and turns around. "Rachel you-" "Keep your voice down, jeez. Anyways where were you?" She whispers. "I was with my friends, okay?" "Tell me about it." Rachel smiles. "Well we had lunch, then we went to the beach." "And?" "And we talked and stuff. Then everyone went home. Now can I just go to bed?" Lance said impatiently. "Fine. Goodnight." Rachel says, walking out of his room.

Lance lays down on his bed, thinking about the day, his friends, his life, space, everything. He wishes everyone could stay. He felt his eyes watering at the thought of this. He shivered and looked outside. The flowers barely glowed. But now this didn't concern him. He felt the world around him spin, and get blurry. Finally, It was dark. He slept quietly.

Keith got into his car. He sat and thought about everything. He thought about tomorrow too. He started up his car, the warmth filled the vehicle. He turned on the radio and all was calm. He drove down the winding roads. He saw flower fields, Animals, trees. He wasn't used to all this nature. Its was serene. He saw the Earth blade of marmora base. He drove up to the base and parked his car, turning off the radio in the process. He got out of his car and a beep was heard signifying that his car was locked. He walked slowly to the doors and unlocked them with a purple key. He closed the door softly to not make much noise. He didn't want to disrupt the serenity. "Glad your back son. Where have you been?" Krolia turned around in her chair. Kosmo sitting beside her. "I went to see the former paladins." "That's nice, how are they?" "They're good." Krolia stood up and hugged Keith. "You should sleep." "Okay, goodnight." They both smiled.

Keith walked down the corridor to his room, looking at the other doors. He stopped at his, he was still for a moment. He opened the door and closed it. He looked around at the decoration-less room. He sighed and planned tomorrow in his head. He felt as if sleep was important, for once.

"BEEP BEEP BEEP." his alarm blared. Keith turned it off and got up. His head hurt a tiny bit, But it wasn't that noticeable. He grabbed his phone and put on a red sweatshirt. He tied his hair up with a black, generic, ponytail and slipped on black, shiny boots with a red bottom. He stretched and headed outside. He got into his car, shutting his car door fast to escape the frozen state of the wind outside. "Damn, its cold." Keith shivered. He put the car keys in the car and started up the red, shiny, car with black leather seats and booming speakers. He turned on some music and started driving.
