Chapter 1 - The Water Hose Incident

A/N: Just a quick note before everyone gets into the story, this is my first fanfic so please as many comment or general notes would be greatly appreciated, also any mistakes or simply confusing parts in the story please tell me about them and I will fix them as soon as possible. I have had this idea for a while, so I will probably rewrite this story at some point. Just so everyone knows this story will be primarily focused on Izuku however at the start I will be focusing on his parents just, so everyone knows his backstory without having to have about 5 flashbacks per chapter. Without further interruptions please enjoy the story.

Shota Aizawa (AKA Erasure head) was sprinting to the location that his friends had sent him moments before, he had been sleeping as the night before he had just finished his 8-hour long patrol of the city where was forced to overuse his quirk in order to save a woman from 3 thugs that were attempting to rob her.

Shota Aizawa:

Hero name: The Erasure Hero: Eraser Head

Quirk: Erasure

- Allows Aizawa to nullify anyone's quirk by looking a them.

Restriction:

- Once he blinks or his vision is obstructed his quirk is deactivated

- Mutations are immune to his quirk

- Can only be used on one person at a time

Drawback:

- Overusing the quirk gives Aizawa bad dry eye which not only hurts his eye but forces him to blink more deactivating his quirk.

(A/N: I know most of you reading this will already know most of the quirks however due to the nature of Izuku's quirk I will be doing a lot of these just to give everyone an understanding of everyone's drawback)

The thugs themselves were quite weak and easy to deal with for Aizawa however the fight lasted long than expected for Aizawa which forced him to overuse his quirk in order to save the woman. This battle as well as the other small time thugs that he fought throughout the night left Aizawa exhausted by the time he finally decided to go home to rest. This is why when he got a message at 10:00 in the morning (This is very early for Aizawa as he only goes to bed at 4:30 am most days) he was a little more than grumpy. "If this is that idiot again asking me to hang out today I am going to be very pissed" Shota shouted to his empty room as he crawled out of his yellow sleeping bag to pick up his phone that was charging on the kitchen bench. The text was from 'that idiot' but instead of his fifty messages that he usually sends begging him to 'hang out', he only send one message and it was the location of Dagobah municipal beach with the message "Help". Before he could even think about if this message was some sort of elaborate plan to force him outside Shota had already grabbed his capture tape and goggles before racing out the door(he was already in his hero costume because he was so tired he simply got into his sleeping bag and fell asleep when he got home.).

When Aizawa arrived all, he could see was destruction down at the beach, there were crater scattered all throughout the beach and passed out on the beach was one of the most notorious villains that there were muscular. Thrown into the concrete wall that separated the urban area from the sand were the bodies of the water hose heroes, both of them were covered in their own blood, Mr Izumi had a broken leg all of his rib cage had been caved in and one of his arms had been ripped off had been thrown 100m down the beach. Mrs Izumi wasn't in any better condition she had two broken arm and her right leg was completely crushed like someone put it in a vice and kept tightening it until it looked like a pancake, her head looked like it had gotten a similar treatment to the leg. Inside one of the craters on the beach was Present Mic (Also Known as 'that Idiot') he was only unconscious which was evident from his chest slightly rising every so often, it was weak but at least he was alive. Midnight could be seen closest to muscular it appears that even after she was knock unconscious she was still able to knock muscular out with the gas her quirk had already produced, she had no other injuries apart from a head would which was causing her to bleed from the scalp.

Aizawa wasted no time calling an ambulance and the police. After a quick overlook at the injuries Aizawa concluded that the one in most need of medical attention was Present Mic, (As the Water Hose heroes were clearly dead.) he had multiple injuries however none of them were fatal, but he would still need medical attention if he was to survive. After Aizawa placed both Present Mic and Midnight into recovery positions he went over and made sure that muscular was restrained with quirk nullifying handcuffs, as a hero's job is always to save people before defeating villains, which is something that is lost to many civilians and heroes alike.

The police arrived 5 minutes after Aizawa placed the call, the police quickly went to work securing the villain and placing him into a specially made transport unit made to transport illegal quirk users, while others taped off the area, so no one could disrupt the crime scene. Shortly after the police placed muscular inside the transport unit, the ambulance arrived, all the paramedics quickly went to work making sure that both of the injured heroes were quickly and safely placed inside the ambulance before rushing off to hospital. Aizawa was riding in the back of the ambulance with Present Mic (AKA Hizashi Yamada) scared for his friends life, as despite Aizawa constantly complaining about him, he has to admit that Hizashi is still his best friend.

After a 10 min Drive to the Dagobah general hospital the ambulance was swarmed by medical professionals which quickly took Hizashi away and into the operating room as he had multiply internal injuries which needed to be fixed. Midnight (AKA Nemuri Kayama) was simply taken into the hero wing of the building as all she needed was rest to recover from her concussion.

Shota Aizawa POV

I kept walking along my friend as he was being pushed down the hallway towards the entrance to the operating room as I was about to go through the entrance to the OR I was stopped by a nurse, "I'm sorry but this is as far as you can go EraserHead." The nurse told me in a calm and caring manner with a mixture of annoyance that can only be acquired through years of calming down hysterical loved ones.

"OK, I understand, but please do anything you can to save him, h-he's all I have left" I said slightly chocking on the words.

"don't worry Dr Midoriya is the best surgeon in the country, if there is anyone that can save your friend it's her."

With that the nurses brought Hizashi in to the operating room and I was just left standing there watching them as they stated operating on my friend. 'Midoriya? ...... Midoriya?... Why does that name sound so familiar?' Aizawa thought whilst staring into the operating room.
