"To be honest, Rose, I'm just so sick and tired of you and your perfect life!" I hold Natalie closer to me to protect her. "What do you mean; 'my perfect life'?"
"Look at you, you've got everything, you don't have financial problems because your father died, you are engaged to a wonderful, wealthy man, you are having a baby and everything I don't have! Come on, Rose give me your little girl which was conceived before your wedding night! I know EVERYTHING! You're such a slut, you don't deserve to have your baby any longer because of that!"
Natalie has woken up and starts crying. I have to protect her from this mad beast of Catherine!
"I swear, Catherine, if you ever put a hand on my baby, this will have consequences!"
"Ohh and what does Rose Dewitt Bukater, the greatest slut of Southampton, want to do? Her lover Caledon isn't there to save her!"
"Catherine...stop...please!"
I am near crying and try to pull her away from me when she rips my dress, which Dad bought for me when he was still living, off my body.
"NOOO!!!!! Catherine, it was from my dad!! It's all I have from him!"
"Aww, I'm sorry..."
In a fast movement, she suddenly gets Natalie and holds her in her arms.
"NO! PLEASE, NO! LEAVE HER ALONE!"
I fall on my knees, pleading her to leave my poor baby alone.
"Alright, Rose, I'll leave you two alone. But don't you think that it's all over now, I will come back again when you least expect it! Oops, catch Natalie!"
She lets her fall down and I cry out, but catch her and before anything can happen, Catherine is away, running out of the house, leaving me there with a ripped dress and a shock.
I mean, what was that?! What's wrong with Catherine?! This can't just be jealousy! I decide to get a robe out of Cal's closet and go downstairs because I badly need a cup of tea...
