i gritted my teeth in anxious. in the living room of my condo, there was new who was sitting on the couch, watching the tv. whilst his hand grabbed his car key.
like a real weirdo, 15 minutes ago, more precisely at 5:40 pm, new came to my condo and asked me for a long drive with him out of blue. he didn't even tell me what for when i asked him.
"but we have an event tomorrow afternoon, hin," i protested confidently. but turned out he was even more confident to answer.
"come on. it's only for a night. 12 hours. i promise we'll be at home when the sun comes up, at 6am."
in the end i gave up. i was willing to come with him. and here i was now, in my bedroom, just get dressed and and put my wallet, phone and the charger into my small bag.
in doubt i walked towards him. new who was aware of my presence immediately raised his head and then rose from his seat and stood beside me.
"ready?" asked him.
i nodded my head as i hummed without saying a word.
right in the next second he grabbed my hand and held it tight. it felt like he was about to take me and get lost to the middle of nowhere.
but that was okay. as long as it was with him, i would always be in.
