I'd like to profusely thank Lolbit113 for her awesome illustration of the most celebrated couples in the Hazbin Hotel Project, as well as the votes and comments left in the last segment! So without further ado, let the show commence and Merry Christmas to all. Stay tuned for the epilogue, folks! :)
There cannot be a precise measurement of just how much adoration Alastor felt for the Piano Demon. He may seem like a fool in love with someone who doesn't appear to return his affection, but the red-haired male has not lived for as long as he has in Hell to be completely blinded by his emotions. He is aware of [First Name]'s feelings through his actions. They were subtle gestures, but they meant everything to Alastor. Especially since they are technically sharing two rooms until the Christmas celebrations had passed. Alastor knew he could not truly keep his lover from wandering the circles of Hell, spreading his contagious music to civilians, but with the recent extermination bouts from Heaven...the Radio Demon was concerned. If something happened to [First Name], he could not forgive himself.
Shaking his head, Alastor stood alone in his room, looking over his appearance in an antique mirror. He wore his usual blood-red, double-breasted suit with the microphone coiled around one gloved hand. The only difference was that there is a small pin shaped like a holly branch pinned on one side; Charlie had given it to him as per the Christmas spirit, bless the dear girl! His yellow teeth stretched into a grin, forcefully banishing the dark thoughts that were clouding his mind as his feet carried him to a door in the far corner of the room. The only barrier that kept the Radio Demon away from his Piano Demon. Raising his hand, he knocked on the door six times and waited. Less than a few seconds passed before Alastor received an answer.
"Come in." His ears twitched happily at hearing the lovely voice that replied to his request to enter [First Name]'s quarters. Turning the knob, he opened to the door to see the Piano Demon coiling an emerald green tie around his neck. [First Name] spared a glance through the mirror as he greeted Alastor with a small nod. "Good evening, Alastor. Are you ready for the festivities downstairs?"
Alastor walked over to a nearby chair, bending his knees to sit in it before reclining back, unashamedly ogling his beloved's sleek form with a smile. "Indeed I am~. Rehearsal was a little tedious this afternoon but Mimzy and I are ready to give our visitors the performance of a lifetime! Of course, it won't be the same without your music," He saw something in the corner of his eye and blinked. Resting on a small table was [First Name]'s mask. Polished and seemingly ready to be worn. The Radio Demon felt his grin fade ever so slightly at the sight of it. Alastor knows it was a part of what made his dearest so unique, what drew him to the reclusive musician in the first place and yet...
"Darling, are you sure about this? I'm aware that the mask acts a shield from the rest of the world -"
"Alastor -"
"But if I use my own magic tonight, it wouldn't be a problem. I don't want you to keep hiding yourself from the world behind a mask. I...want to show off who my lover is, how gorgeous you are -"
"Alastor," The monocle-wearing male paused, watching [First Name]'s body grow tense with eyes that were becoming as frosty as his dialogue. "I-I know...I understand that you want this...to have us be normal, as normal as demons can be in this shithole but....you know that I wear the mask for a reason," He raised a glove over his face, trying to conceal the unspoken anguish even when it started to slip into his voice as he continued to speak to the Radio Demon. "I can't even fathom how much energy it would take to create an illusion of me that isn't...me. A monster who can harm others just by looking at them."
"Sweetheart..." Alastor rose from his chair, wrapping his arms around his partner's shoulders, "Believe me, I've met many monsters as a human and down here as a demon in Hell, but you are not one of them."
