Part 5-Exciting News

Cassie sat at the middle of the table with her mom.Waiting to see what Jeff was going to do. The phone was ringing.Jeff got up and said "I'll be right back" and pushed his chair in. Cassie looked around the enormous room. It wasn't a "rich" style I mean the guy had a camo recliner like Phil off of Duck Dynasty. Her mom was looking around too. Pretty decent place. Her mom mumbled. Pretty decent??? Cassie replied I would buy this place in a minute!!! Her mom giggled. Me too. Jeff come out of the kitchen with a platter of ribs and not just any ribs. Ribs smothered in barbecue!!! Sorry to keep you waiting Jeff said. I was just on the phone with Luke Bryan one of my singers. Cassie looked shocked.her eyes glowed wide. L-L-Lu-Luke Bryan?!?! Yes Jeff said very calmly he just wanted to see how I was doing with he's album and stuff. Oh Cassie said. Anyways Jeff got off the topic. Let's talk about you,I think you have what it takes kid. I usually don't do this but maybe you could come to the Country Festival??? Y-y-you mean the CMAs??? Cassie jumped up. By now Cassie's mom was about to pass out. Jeff replied, yes the CMAs,of course I would have to let you sing with someone because we really don't have any spots left. Jeff said. Cassie had to ask, why did you pick me???? Your young,talented and very truthful Jeff replied with a smile. We'll thank you. Cassie said and blushed. Okay Jeff stated in a serious tone,you will have to pick you you want to work with in the next 2 weeks then you will practice with that person if there available. It will be every other day for 7 hours each day. Cassie sighed,it was a great opportunity but really 7 hours???? Cassie waited about a second a looked at her mom,her mom squeezed her hand and Cassie looked up at Jeff and said"let's do this"
