Part 7-Some Good/Bad News

Laura and Cassie sat in the bean bags. So Laura started I have some exciting news!!! Cassie looked up and said...really me too!!! Laura and Cassie were playing the who goes first game and Cassie decided to break. Ok fine, we'll I went to go perform at a restaurant and Jeff Stevens a producer saw me and asked if I wanted to play in the CMAs with one of his singers!!!! Laura looked at Cassie and a smile appeared on her face,she started jumping up and down with Cassie for about 5 minutes. Cassie finally sat down and asked, so what's your news??? Laura nodded her head, oh right!! So I made the gymnastics team!!! Cassie's smile faded but she tried to hide it. Laura continued, I know you really wanted to make the team but hey you get to go to the CMAs. Cassie smiled again Laura always mad her feel better. Ring Ring Ring!!! Cassie's phone was ringing. Oh I better get this. Cassie answered the phone and it was Jeff he told her she had 2 free passes for her mom and whoever else. Really thank you!!! She exclaimed and hung up. Laura was dying to know what the call was about. Cassie finally broke. OK FINE YOU GET TO GO TO THE CMA AWARDS WITH ME!!!! Laura opened her mouth as if she was trying to say something but couldn't, she squeezed Cassie. YAY!!! They both shouted. We'll lets figure out what movie were gonna watch!! Cassie got off the topic. Laura nodded and said ok!!! They picked out Finding Nemo, Lion King and some other Disney movies.they talked and laughed and eventually just fell asleep on the couch. Cassie knew the CMAs were gonna be great.
