"Princess?"

You moaned and tried to turn around, but a scream escaped your lips when you were not even half way the movement yet. Your entire body hurt. It was a like a bolt of lightning pierced your skull and it felt like a sharp middle aged sword pierced your gut.

"Don't move."

You opened your eyes and blinked a few times to adjust to the lack of light and the strange walls surrounding you. The room smelt strange, but in a way also comforting and you took a few deep breaths before you gathered the courage to push yourself up.

"Seriously..." A strong hand firmly pushed you back down. "Which part of don't move is so hard to understand?" Aiden hissed through his teeth.

You sighed and then you turned your head to take in your surroundings.

The white walls of the room were bare. There were no pictures, no posters, just bare white walls, with here and there some dirty spots you didn't even want to know the origin of. A simple wooden desk was placed in the corner. On top of it laid piles of clothes. It was the only piece of furniture apart from the giant double bed you were laying in.

"Where am I?" You looked at Aiden who sat down on the edge of the bed.

"In my room." He smiled and he pressed the back of his hand to your forehead. "I'm sorry I didn't take you here before." He swallowed, but he didn't need to explain anything.

You understood.

This was his house, his house with no personal belongings, with nothing that was really his, with no personal touches. It was nothing but a place to live, a place to move on from when the time was there to leave Beacon Hills behind again. It was not even half as cozy as your own bedroom, which was nothing more than a small room with a bed, a closet and a desk.

"How're you feeling?" Aiden reached for your hand and you furrowed your eyebrows, all of a sudden wondering why he was asking you that question, why he was forcing you to stay down, why every part of your body hurt like you had just traveled to hell and back.

You shrugged your shoulders, but then all of a sudden you realized that the fabric of the sheets was touching your naked skin. Your heart started racing in your chest and you widened your eyes when you looked at Aiden. "Wait, when did I take off my clothes?" You wanted to sit up again, but Aiden once more pushed you back down. "Did we...did I forget...I didn't forget, did I?" You stuttered and Aiden let out a small chuckle.

"Relax princess, you passed out from bleeding." He pressed a soft kiss on your forehead. "I didn't know where the wound was, so I had to take off your clothes to find it. But the next time you're in my bed with all your clothes off, you'll remember for sure."

You closed your eyes for a brief moment, but then you opened them again. "What wounded me then?"

Aiden shook his head. "I'd hoped you'd be able to tell me that, actually." He bit his bottom lip. "Don't worry. We're gonna figure this out, okay? And it will never happen again." He kissed the tip of your nose and then he kissed your slightly parted lips. "I promise."
