Thirty five minutes later, I parked my car and looked down at myself. I wasn't wearing much, but I'm sure he wouldn't complain. The entire house was dark and I wondered if maybe he just decided to go to bed since I wasn't here in fifteen minutes like he requested. Standing there for a few minutes, I was trying to decide if I should just leave or be brave and go in.
Walking up to the house I could see that the door wasn't closed all the way and there were a few lit candles inside. You would think that the power had been out or something. I pushed the door open and stepped inside. Walking all the way in, I closed it behind me. Holding my cell phone and feeling the hair standing up on my arms, I walked up the steps to his bedroom. It was completely silent in the house with the exception of my shoes clicking on the floor.
Pushing his bedroom door open, I saw him in a chair just sitting in the dark room. Looking up when I stepped inside the room, he spoke. "Glad you finally made it."
"Sorry, I told you that I was at the beach. Why is it so dark in here?" I sat on his bed looking over at him. I couldn't really see him very well in the dark, but his voice was soft and it made him somehow appear weak. This was so unlike him, he was always seemed to be in charge. His voice always strong and full of authority. "Jared, what's wrong with you?" I dared to ask, thinking in the back of my mind that this was just a trick.
"I've just had a very rough day and I just wanted to see you. Is that alright?" He asked softly, confusing the hell out me. He sent me a text, demanding that I come over and once I get here, he wants to sit and chat in the dark? He never even moved from his chair.
"Sure, I don't mind." I was so lost and unsure of what to do. Sitting on the end of his bed facing him, I stared over at him. I took my chance, moving closer to him. I got up and stood in front of him. Letting my instincts take over from there, I held out my hands out to him. This would either get me in serious trouble or he just needed a friend tonight.
To my surprise, he put his hands in mine and stood up. He looked down at me before wrapping his arms around me. Okay, this has never happened before. I let him hold me and relaxed against his body, taking in his scent. I've always loved the way he smelled.
I'm not sure how long we stood there, but when I broke free, I pulled him with me toward the bathroom. It wasn't until we were under the brightness of the bathroom light that I could see how worn out he really looked. He was still sexy as hell, but just exhausted and looking very stressed. The tension was visible in his beautiful baby blues.I lifted the T-shirt over his head and let it fall to the floor. His eyes never left mine, not once. Looking down at his belt, I pulled it free before unbuttoning and unzipping his jeans. Squatting down, I pulled his underwear and jeans down his legs off of his feet. I was waiting for him to grab a handful of hair and demand that I suck him off right there on the bathroom floor, but he didn't.
He simply stood, watching me undress and turn on the hot water in the shower. He got in right behind me standing under the hot stream of water. I couldn't help but think, why did he text me? I know he sees other women and surely he doesn't do with them what he does to me. He's a normal person beyond all of that and while we are friends, I just didn't think that he'd call me of all people.
He stood still and let my hands caress his lean body. I couldn't help but stare at the tattoos as I cleaned his body with a wash cloth. Normally, he wouldn't allow me to get this close and I couldn't help but wonder what happened differently today. He never moved an inch as he let me clean his body.
After the hot shower, we got out and dried off. "Do you need anything?" I asked, picking up my clothing from the floor.
He nodded his head. "Can you just stay with me?"
