jisung waited for a car to pass by before making his way through the parking lot.
today was tuesday, his second day of working at sonic. it was one of his later shifts, so when he arrived to work, everyone was already hard at work.

as jaemin was skating towards one of the cars with their order, he noticed jisung wheel his bike with him. he made sure to wave to the boy, who just awkwardly smiled back at him.

"here you go, ladies," jaemin greeted, handing the bag of food to its assigned car.
the girl at the driver's seat shyly giggled before taking the bag.
the girl in the passenger seat looked up at him with admiration.

"thank you!" they said in unison. jaemin just flashed a smile at them before skating off.

"have a nice day!" he said as he skated away, earning squeals from the girls.
jaemin heard one of them say something about him being so handsome, and he just chuckled.

when jisung entered the building, he saw donghyuck's eyes on him, before he called out to mark.

"mark! he's here!"

in just a matter of seconds, mark was coming out from the drive thru station. he gave out a sigh of relief when he saw jisung.

"okay, good!" he pulled him over by the sleeve, starting to drag him to the drive tru station.
"you're working drive thru again."

jisung looked at the older with confusion.
"did doyoung say that...?"

"whenever he's not here–which is almost always..." donghyuck pointed to mark.
"mark's in charge around here."

mark handed jisung the headset.
"honestly, i don't know why i'm not the manager," he said before making his way to the backroom.
"but it doesn't matter anyways, because i–"

"because you hate your job!" not only donghyuck, but pretty much everyone working had finished his sentence.

jisung couldn't help but find this funny.
and so, he put on his headset, and got to work.
