A friend

Its been 2 and a half days after the airport incident. Mary was sitting on a table in a some kind of a lab. All she knows that Nines and Gavin are invited to a party. While she was humming,a girl sat beside her. She has brown hair with eyes just like Nines. She also wear a blue dress,short pants and boots. She looks familiar..... "So,you come here often?" The girl said. "Well,this is my first time here. I never come here" Mary reply. "That's great" the girl said. "What are you doing here?" The girl asked. "I'm just waiting. For my parents" Mary said.

"I never have parents. My only caretaker is my creator,Charity." The girl said.

"Creator?"

"I'm a half android,half human. I'm made by two DNA of an android and a human. I was created by Charity. Oh,I forgot to introduce myself...I'm Grace."

"Mary....Mary Reed."

The two girls look of the ground, awkward silence between the two. "So,do you wear that shirt all the time? Grace said as pointed at her orange shirt. "Well,this is my favourite shirt. But i also wear other clothes." Mary said.

"That's great. My creator only let me wear this dress only." Grace said.

Grace and Mary talked about things for hours. About their favourite things,memories that never fade and about themselves.

It was really fun for the two of them. Grace and Mary got tired after talking for hours. They felt asleep,sleeping on eachother's shoulder.

__time skip__

Gavin and Nines found their daughter and a girl with brown hair sleeping together. "Oh,you must meet Grace!" Charity said. "Who's Grace?" Gavin questioned. "She's a test subject of something I'm working on." Charity
reply.

"I'll carry Mary" Nines said as he went up to sleeping Mary. He slowly carry Mary in a bride style. "Thank you for the invite" Gavin,Nines and Sleeping Mary went outside and to the car.

Nines lay down Mary in the back of the car,gently. Avoiding her to wake up. Nines went to the driver's seat while Gavin went to the passenger seat. Nines started to engine and drive home.

__hours passed__

Mary woke up in the car,in fear.

She thought she's in someone's car

She start to scream in the car.

Gavin notice her screaming.

"STAY AWAY FROM ME!!!!! I DON'T WANT TO LIVE WITH YOU!!!!! I WANNA BE WITH MY REAL PARENTS!!!!!!"

Gavin turn back "Sweetie! It's us!" Gavin hold Mary's shoulders. Mary cried as she pulled Gavin in a hug. Nines stop the car on the side of the highway. "It's alright....Its us...." Gavin and Nines hold her close. "I don't want to live with the Lopezs..."Mary muffled on Gavin's chest.

"It's alright....We're here..." Nines calmly console her.

"Calm down......."

Mary stop crying but doesn't let go of Gavin. She back away and return to her seat. Gavin and Nines turn back to his seat.

Silence as Nines started to engine and drive they're way to home.

Mary finally calm down.

"So,you made a friend?" Gavin broke the silence. "Yeah! She's really nice. She has brown hair,blue-ish grey eyes and a lovely blue dress!" Mary reply.

"She actually looks like you..."

Awkward silence.

"Well,i have an idea. How about you call me human dad and call this tin can android dad so we won't mix up." Gavin suggested. Tin can....it's been a while since Nines heard that nickname. "Sure,human dad!" Mary said.

Nines's eyes blink a couple times. His LED turns yellow rapidly. "What's wrong,sweetie?" Gavin asked.

"Nothing..."

Gavin hold Nines's hand. He smiles at him. Gavin press a small kiss on his cheek.

They finally arrived home. Gavin went to his shared room and jump to it,face first. "'She actually looks like you'......I look at Grace's face and noticed she looks like you...." Nines said. "I guess that's fine. I mean,some people can look like me." Gavin said. "You know what? Never mind....Let's go to sleep." Nines said as he remove his cyberlife outfit. Leaving only his boxers.

Gavin remove his outfit too. Only on his boxers. Gavin and Nines cover themselves with the blanket on their shared bed.

"Actually,you call me tin can. Its been a while since you call me that"

"Shut up idiot. Even though I'm not an a&(hole anymore doesn't mean I'll stop calling you names"

"Fine....Love you,sweetie."

"Love you too"
