A/N - I do not own any characters from Danganronpa V3 and Devil May Cry.
The group walks to the tower... and frowns once they notice a massive lock to the door.
"... Welp... crap," Kaito complained, "Now, what are we gonna do?!"
"Obviously, we picklock it!" Kokichi pointed out, "But... I have a very bad feeling about this..."
"Huh? Why?" Kaito asked harshly, "What if this is our only way out!?"
"I-I know!" Kokichi replied, "But... this is all too easy,"
"Yeah... sorry Kaito, but I have to agree with Kokichi here," Shuichi apologised and agreed with his boyfriend, "After all, this is clearly a trap set by Tsumugi..."
"... Nyeh... the more I think about it..." Himiko muttered, "The more likely this tower is a trap..."
"Same," Maki agreed with the others.
Kaito clutches his fist as he walks towards the tower's door. He grabs hold of Shuichi's new spear, catching his friend's off guard.
"H-Hey!" Shuichi shouted in shock as he sees his best friend is about to smash the lock open.
"WAIT!!! DON'T!!" Everyone screamed at Kaito, but it was too late as he already smashes the lock in half.
"Ah!" Kaito said as the door slowly opens up, "Hell yeah! Now we're free!"
But, a vein-like root is slowly exiting out of the tower, making the group's faces turning pale and slowly backing away.
"Welp... you done fucked up! You done fucked up!" Kokichi called out to Kaito, "This is what happens when you don't listen to us, idiot!"
"I'm sorry!" Kaito replied.
"Guys... we should run, NOW!" Shuichi told them loudly as the roots are slowly cracking down the tower.
"AHHHHHH!!!" Everybody screamed as they run away... but it was too late as the tower bursts, revealing a massive, demonic tree starts growing rapidly and knocking the group out as it starts to strike to the surface...

Before you ask, yes it will take place during DMC5, but since the game isn't out yet and the story is an AU, meaning this will be drastically different from the canon story, especially when the game comes out.
