Her mind was empty
as she stared at the blank paper.
What's there to edit,
if you can't write anything ?
Where were the times
when the words would flow
smoother than a river ?
But now, the river seemed to be dry.
The words didn't go together,
they just didn't sound right.
She knew she was an amateur,
she knew there were people better than her.
But even the best had passed obstacles.
What she didn't know was that
One isn't truly a good writer
if they hadn't gone through writer's block.
