Rose's pov.
I stand there dumbfounded, did he just say my dad sold me, hold the motherfucking phone is HE SERIOUS , WHAT THE HELL. Then I realized that I was standing there like a deer in headlights I finally said in a calm voice...
"Are you serious? Please, tell me you're serious," I exclaimed with a mix of disbelief and relief.
The thought of not having to live with that jerk anymore suddenly seemed like a silver lining.
But then, a wave of concern washed over me as I remembered Sofia. Her life wasn't exactly a walk in the park either. I needed to ask her if she could come along, because facing the unknown alone wasn't an appealing prospect.
That when I realized that all four of them were staring at me completely shook, they heard the happy tone in my voice, that when the grey-eyed man aka Vincent said...
" Why are you so happy about that?" he said clearly confused.
" If it means I don't have to live here with that asshole of a couch potato I'd be happy to leave with you on one condition.." I stated.
"And what would that be?" said Vincent" My best friend Sofia has to come with us or no go," I said but it came out a demand.
I could feel the tension in the room rising as I anxiously awaited Vincent's response, my heart pounding in my chest. I knew that my request was bold, but I couldn't imagine embarking on this journey without Sofia by my side.
She had always been my rock, my confidante, and I needed her support now more than ever.
Vincent's piercing grey eyes bore into mine as he contemplated my condition, his expression unreadable.
I held my breath, hoping against hope that he would agree to my terms.
and to my surprise he said...
"Fine, your friend can come, but only her," Vincent said in a firm tone, his eyes narrowing slightly.
"Understood, only Sofia. So when do we leave? I need to pack," I replied, feeling a sense of excitement building within me.
"Start packing now, then go fetch your friend. We'll head to the jet as soon as possible, so call her and tell her to pack," Vincent instructed, his voice firm but authoritative.
I couldn't help but wonder why he was being so strict, but I simply nodded and said, "Okay," before making my way upstairs to gather my things.

Vincent POV.
We finally arrived in Los Angeles, and my excitement to see Alexandria was palpable.
Her father, a despicable man who owed me a significant sum of money, had no means to repay me.
In a deplorable act of desperation, he offered his own daughter as collateral.
Despite the circumstances, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the opportunity as Alexandria was not only stunning but also deserving of a better life away from her abusive father.
As we entered her house, the stench of alcohol and drugs filled the air, further fueling my anger towards her father.
When Alexandria finally arrived, a tense silence enveloped the room. Sensing her fear, I called out to my dog, Zeus, to ease the tension and reassure her of her safety.
