Male Reader's POV ~ Me and John sat at the table with a big box of cheese pizza in the middle my eyes lit up as he opened the box the cheese melted perfectly on the golden brown crust the smell was absolutely amazing my mouth started to water as he put a giant slice of pizza on my plate followed by his how the gooey cheese stretched.
Male Reader - it looks very good! (Smiles)
John Doe - I only get the best for us hehe
Male Reader - (smiles)
John Doe - you must be starving go ahead take a big bite! Just be careful not to burn yourself (snickers)
Male Reader's POV ~ I was starting to get used to John's personality knowing full well half the stuff he laughs about shouldn't be something you should take at heart I learned that a few minutes ago when we were originally going to have dinner. I didn't hesitate and took a big bite of cheese pizza enjoying the taste of the gooey cheese coming off the pizza as I munched on it I kept chewing soon swallowing feeling the warm cheese and tomato sauce go down my throat smiling satisfied.
John Doe - soooo how's the pizza?
Male Reader - it's delicious thankyou!
John Doe - it must be since you can't seem to stop smiling (pokes ____ face)
Male Reader - no I'm not smiling because of that
John Doe - what do you mean?
Male Reader's POV ~ I looked at John and smiled again my heart felt like it was going to burst my walls began to come down.
Male Reader - I'm happy because....because I have someone to talk to someone who's willing to listen so-
Male Reader's POV ~ but John interrupted me mid sentence with his uncontrollable laughter and I began to frown.
John Doe - Y-you must be pulling my leg right? Right?! Haha (wipes tears from his eyes)
Male Reader - ....it's not something I would lie to you about I don't understand why is that so hard to believe?
John Doe - ......
Male Reader - .....whatever
Male Reader's POV ~ We continued eating in silence I felt somewhat hurt I know John was all about the jokes but this was different he seemed like he didn't believe me. I guess it's something I should just accept that's just how he is.... I looked up and noticed John taking his finger pulling the cheese off the pizza.
Male Reader - what are you doing?
John Doe - sometimes I like to eat pizza in different ways got to keep it interesting you know?
Male Reader - oh...ok
John Doe - so what you said before was that true?
Male Reader - huh? was what true?
Male Reader's POV ~ I saw John put his pizza down and began to talk more serious like he was a different person this made me feel somewhat uncomfortable but maybe there was a good reason for it.
John Doe - Was it true when you said that you're happy talking to me?
Male Reader - Yes everything I told you was true but you don't believe me so why are you bringing it back up?
John Doe - I was just caught off guard...I'm sorry if I'm sounding off character right now
Male Reader - it does seem weird you're usually making jokes and laughing all the time I'm not used to seeing this kind of "tone" from you...
John Doe - it's rare that's all
Male Reader - what's wrong?
John Doe - hmmm??
Male Reader - are you ok?
John Doe - Yes (chuckles) I'm just dandy
Male Reader - John.....please tell me what's wrong..?
John Doe - ....So we are like pizza then?
Male Reader - (laughs) W-what?!
John Doe's POV ~ I saw how ____ laughed I knew he didn't mean it his face just held confusion my mind became frustrated not knowing how to talk in these situations. I'm always joking around making funny impressions on people but this guy got to me even Harley never saw this side of me I'm supposed to be funny not serious but something in me felt like one of these extremely rare times are necessary right now I'm trying to hard to talk ____ why is it so hard for me?! He looked at me with those worried eyes I put a hand on his arm and looked in his eyes.
John Doe - We are like pizza your the melting cheese and I'm the crust that keeps it together see? (points at pizza)
the crust supports the cheese no matter how much is on there
Male Reader - ......(giggles) John that's a wonderful analogy that means a lot to me thankyou! (Smiles big)
John Doe - oh look what you made me do! I became "cheesey" (laughs)
Male Reader's POV ~ Me and John laughed uncontrollably I'm glad he's being himself again we continued eating our pizza exchange conversations and laughs this felt like a truly magical moment.
