IZUMI'S POV

A while had passed since I started living with the Sakamaki brothers. I wondered what was going on in the demon world and if my parents were all right and I also wondered if they caught my crazy demon uncle yet. Aside from all of that worry, the Sakamaki brothers, my half-human uncle Toby and two of the Mukiami brothers comforted me and they did their best to make sure that I'm not worrying too much about my parents.

Right now, I'm in the music class and it was my turn to play the piano and I chose this particular song to play for the class since it was one of my favourite songs from the soundtrack to this series.

Once I was finished playing the song, the class was impressed at how well I was able to play the song. I got back to my seat and then one of my classmates whispered to me.

"Wow, Izumi-chan, you play the piano so well, almost better than Shu-senpai."

"It's no big deal, I just have a natural talent for it."

I said with a smile. Just then, I felt a certain Mukami's glare on my back and I knew who it belonged to.

"Sophia, look over my shoulder and tell me if Kou Mukami is glaring at me."

Sophia, one of my classmates who sits next to me during music and English class, looked at Kou Mukami and she nodded her head.

"Yep, he's glaring at you at all right."

"Oh boy..." I mumbled quietly.

The teacher then said to us.

"All right class, you'll be working in pairs so grab a partner because you're all going to record your a cover version of your favourite song or make one of your own because for this week's assignment."

I was surprised by this and then I felt Kou placing his hand on my shoulder. I flinched a little and he then said to me.

"Fancy being my partner, Keneko-chan."

I turned around to face him and I said to him.

"Fine by me but, do me a favour, stop calling me Keneko-chan, I have a name you know."

"I know, I just like calling you Keneko-chan," Kou spoke with a smirk on his face.

'Ugh, this is gonna be a long night...'

I thought to myself with a disgusted expression. I glanced out of the window and I wondered how my parents are doing.

MEANWHILE...

READER'S POV

"We've received reports from our spies so far, Zagan hasn't made his move but, he's up to something and that's not all, we also found this," Sebastian explained to me as he gave me a replica of some sort of dagger.

"What's this? is this some kind of ritual dagger?"

"It is but, it's a replica, Zagan is trying to look for this dagger, I don't know why though."

"I'll do some research on this, thanks Sebastian, keep up the good work."

"Yes, ma'am," Sebastian said before he bowed politely and leaving the room.

I looked at the dagger and I took a closer look at the design and I said to Ichiro.

"Ichiro, doesn't the design of this dagger look familiar to you?"
