I Thought I'd Lost You

3RD PERSON POV

In the demon world, (Y/n) was in the archives and she was still researching the dagger that Sebastien found a few weeks ago and then she came across other weapons that were created by Himiko and the other members of the (L/n) clan from the demon world.

"I don't believe it...this dagger is actually a blood ritual dagger," (Y/n) spoke in a shocked tone.

She looked at the other weapons and then she found a sketch of an old tome, which was similar to the book of demons that she found 15 years ago. 

"The History Devils and Angels...? is Zagan after this as well?" (Y/n) mumbled and then she summoned a familiar.

"Go and tell Sebastien to find this book and make sure he finds it before Zagan and his men do and hurry!"

"Yes, ma'am!" The familiar shouted before flying out of the window.

(Y/n) pulled her sword out of the stone and then she left the archives. Once she got outside of the archives, she looked at the night sky with a worried expression on her face.

'Izumi, please be careful...'

Meanwhile, in the fallen angel's domain, Zagan stood on his balcony with an evil smirk on his face. 

"You can't hide forever my foolish brother and my ex-bride."

Just then, Zagan's general approached him and he knelt down to him.

"Master Zagan, we've located Izumi (L/n), she's in the human world as we speak and she's living with Sakamaki brothers."

Zagan was surprised when his general told him this and then he chuckled evilly.

"So, (Y/n) sent her daughter to the human world to protect her from me huh? how did I not notice this sooner? heheheh, no matter," Zagan smirked evilly again before ordering his general.

"Aruto, go and take some of your best men to the human world and bring back Izumi (L/n) to me, but, make sure you bring her back alive, we need her blood and her power."

"Yes, sir!"

In the shadows, a hooded figure watched Zagan from the distance and he frowned a little.

"This is not good, I must tell Karl-sama about this at once."

The mysterious figure mumbled before disappearing into the darkness.

Back in the human world, Izumi was sitting on the roof of the mansion with a sad expression on her face, since she was missing her parents.

IZUMI'S POV

I sighed for the tenth time tonight and I couldn't help but think about my parents and my friends back in the demon world. I wondered if they're all right without me and what was going on with my crazy uncle Zagan as well. Just then, Ayato appeared and he sat beside me.

"So what are you doing up here all by yourself?" Ayato asked me.

"I'm just feeling a little homesick, that's all."

"Are you missing Melons?"

"If you mean my mother, then yes."

Ayato chuckled and then he gently patted my head.

"Hey, Ayato..."

"Hm?"

"Be honest, was Okaa-san a sacrificial bride like Yui? did she had her blood sucked as well?"

Ayato looked at me surprised when I asked him this.

"Why do you ask?"

"After being here for a while, I realised...I feel like I don't know Okaa-san at all, the only thing I know about her is her past when she was a part of a street gang and when she got kidnapped as well..."
