"So, I win. Again" I smirk as I landed Stormfly down on the ground, followed by the others.

"Remind me not to play this game anymore" Snotlout groans.

"Nice race, guys" We hear Hiccup as he approached with Merida clinging onto his arm for dear life. Gosh stop it, there's no reason for you to cling tightly to him.

"Thanks, but we really thought one of us would beat Astrid since we trained so hard. But maybe today's not the day yet" Fishlegs say.

"But she can never beat me right? A game, Hofferson?" Hiccup says.

"No thanks, Haddock" I say as I got off Stormfly's back.

"Why? Chicken?" He smirks. I roll my eyes.

"Oooooh he just called you a chicken!" Tuffnut yells.

"Nah, I'm just too tired" I shrug and turn around.

"Just one little game?" Hiccup smiles hopefully, Merida glaring at me the whole time. Keep your eyes to yourself, you beast.

"Maybe tomorrow" I sigh.

"Yeah, it's getting kinda late anyway" Fishlegs shrug.

"Let's go have dinner!" Ruffnut says and we began to follow her. I walked behind the group, not being able to bear the pain of seeing the one you like spending time with another person.

Gods I'm such a weak person, but I can't help it.

...

"............and that's how Merida and I met" Hiccup smiles as he tells their story of when they met the first time in a Big Four mission.

"Interesting" I say. I might have put a tiny hint of sarcasm there.

"Yeah, and I thought he was the most amazing guy the second I laid my eyes on him" Merida adds leaning onto Hiccup's shoulder.

Stop it.

"Aha yeaaaah" Hiccup laughs nervously and blushes a bit. I mentally roll my eyes.

I looked over to the others who weren't even paying attention to the 'Merricup' story.

"What were we talking about again?" Ruffnut asks.

"The 1st Dragon-Viking War!" Tuffnut says.

"No, we were talking about how Merida and I met" Hiccup says.

"Oh... That's not interesting at all" Tuffnut groans.

"But Astrid said it was interesting" Hiccup turned to me.

Kill me now.

"Uh haha look I'll get off to get some shut eye, I'll see you guys tomorrow" I say as I stood up.

"I'll walk you home" Hiccup stands. Merida looked shocked and glared at me when the others weren't looking.

"Nah, don't bother. I'm capable of doing this myself" I smile as nicely as I could and say goodbye to the others. They said that they'd be heading home too in a few minutes.

"It's a Hiccup-Astrid tradition after all right?" Hiccup insists.

"It's fine, you really don't have to" I say.

"I'll walk you. Merida, I'll see you tomorrow okay?" Hiccup says. I walked away from the table and Hiccup caught up to me.

We walked the dark and silent streets of Berk.

I just looked down and stared at the ground while Hiccup just walked beside me.

To be honest, we haven't done this in a while.
