She dove down towards a small area with 2 dumpsters next to a brick wall, and a garbage bag in-between them. After gracefully landing, she moved the garbage bag to reveal a wooden hatch leading down into the concrete. Once unlocking the deadbolt with a golden key she retrieved from a small pouch tethered to her wrist, Orchid climbs down the ladder, closing and locking the hatch behind her. "Hey Orchid..." A tall, red parakeet sighs from the room below, his voice dreary and tired. "What's up?" She looks over at him with somewhat yellow scales. "Hey Apple... Not much... I got some more stuff to eat..." He doesn't look up from his phone. "How did it go?" "Nearly killed, the usual..." He had a sarcastic tone in his voice "Ah... Sorry 'bout that..." Orchid didn't exactly pick up on it, or pretended not to care. "Not your fault humanity sucks..."

Apple doesn't respond, just looking over at Orchid as she hopped down with a small "oomph". Her scales were a light blue with bits of cyan mixed in. "What happened this time?" "God, I just wish I didn't have to be so jumpy, or have to hide constantly... It's my own fault he attacked me... I was being stupid, and walked down a random isle..." "Maybe you need to think about how not everything is about you... Either way, you're not stupid, at least for the most part." "Eh... Maybe I am, maybe I'm not... Who knows..." "When you say it like that you sound like an asshole..."

He plops back down into his hammock, sighing quietly. "Sooo... Did you have any plans for today? You could do literally anything but bother me constantly... I don't care what you do..." "Well, I was hoping we could just hang out maybe? I dunno, I guess I kinda just wanna take a break from everything and just... Hang out, y'know?" "Or, you can just disregard everything I say, and bring even more  attention to yourself..." He grumbles. "Since I don't care enough to remember, and it's the most mind numbing thing you ever talk about, mind explaining your scales to me again?" He did not sound very friendly right now. she figured his boyfriend was being a twerp or something again, as Apple had brooded about more often than usual. "Eh... I don't see why not..." She shrugged, walking over to a small hammock hanging in one of the corners. After laying down in it, she sighs in relief, happy to lay down...
