Pinstripe sighs, thinking to themselves about the current situation. "Maybe I should go back home now, considering I've done enough damage already..." They pondered, opening up a rift and stepping through. The void smelled like absolutely nothing, and they would've noted this if they thought it was important. "3654... 947... 249" They mumble to themselves, tentacles twitching as they patiently hover above them. They hovered to the coordinates they had muttered, opening a small rift to step out again, leaving behind the black abyss as they step back into the third dimension. Pinstripe looks at the hallway they are now standing in, straightening up their suit and tie before stepping through the door to their apartment.
Two small beings greeted them at the door, fluffy and confusing. They looked like they could be a cat, dog, or maybe even part goat as they smile at them. The strangest thing about them were their faces. If you thought they were normal, you thought wrong. The shorter one had a face that one could only describe as OwO, and the taller, more elegant one had to be considered UwU. Pinstripe had nicknamed them accordingly, O and U being a common thing to hear in their home. "Hey guys... How's it going?" They looked happy, but incapable of speech other than a small language they had devised to communicate with one another. The two seemed happy to see them, hopping around excitedly as they chuckle. "Good, good... I see you didn't burn the house down... Hungry?" They both nod quickly, the taller one already sneaking back to the bedroom to start reading again. "Okay, I can start dinner here in a sec!" They chime, sitting down on the couch and relaxing.
The room was quiet, O and U most likely off doing their own respective things. U was probably reading a book, and O wandering around, sneaking through the vents and small paths they had invented, using their imagination. Pinstripe was in the shower, quietly humming a small tune as they washed off excess void traces left from the exposure. If you were to see them, you would discover Pinstripe was surprisingly a she, not a he or they. She shut off the water when she finished, drying off and slipping back into her suit. She was aware of the 4th wall, not breaking it very often as she gave the readers a glare for watching her shower. "Creeps..."
She wanted to go check on Orchid, but remembered how they reacted to her last time. Instead, she laid down in bed and thought about the possibility of others like her out there, wishing she had someone who she truly loved. Alas, the nearest one of her kind was light years away, possibly close enough to encounter by pure luck one day. She sighed, forcing down the longing in her heart. Envy grew in it's place, seeing Alex and Orchid together in a sweet combination as she wanted someone else to be there for her thoughts and feelings. A single, blood-red tear dripped from her eye, the pain finally digging it's sharp claws into her soul. She felt rather cold and lonely in bed that night.
