Battle, On

Naruto charged at Kimimaro, he felt betrayed and out of control. The only thing he knew his inner beast was feeling was the need to subdue Kimimaro and make him submit. It was the only way everyone was going to come out alive.

As Naruto a powerful jaws were about to clamp around Kimimaro's mid section, he elegantly flew through the air and out of Naruto's reach- or so he thought. Just as quickly Naruto spun around in time to catch his arm as he was landing back down.

He was then slammed into the ground. His head was dizzy from the impact but he struck Naruto in the leg with a bone extending from his free arm. With Naruto's jaws loosened, Kimimaro jumped backwards once more, knowing he would have to change into his animal form he took a shaky breath before an a white fox only just smaller than Naruto appeared. He had four tails waving wildly behind him and white flames that looked like they could burn down the whole forest. Not dissimilar to Naruto's own form.

Naruto and Lee were both blown away, if they both weren't fearing for their lives they might've thought he was an angle.

All too quickly reality set in again as Naruto roared once more, trying to get Kimimaro to back down. Kimimaro responded with a cry of his own and once again they charged at one another, claws, blood and fur being thrown around brutally.

Lee was breathing heavily and knew he was loosing a lot of blood. Quickly grabbing his medical supplies he tried to patch up the wound and at least try to slow down the blood.

Besides that was the sight in front of him, two huge beasts rarely seen and that barely existed were fighting to what seemed the death. It was terrifying and amazing.

He also figured sooner or later Pein or his cronies would show up and he couldn't be laying on the ground, half dead, when they did. They needed Kimimaro to join their side or a miracle to happen.

Going for the more reasonable option, Lee grabbed a piece of bone that had extended and broken off of Kimimaro. With his good arm he seized it and waiting for his opportunity.

Seeing his chance he dove onto Kimimaro's back and yelled when the white flames rushed over him. Being even quicker he stabbed him between the shoulder blades and pushed himself off of the inferno.

In pain but keeping his eye on the enemy, Lee watched as Kimimaro yelped and, while distracted, Naruto seizes his throat and pushed him down to the ground. Watching what he knew to be Naruto trying to assert dominance over Kimimaro he prayed it would work.

Naruto held the man he had been searching for for years between his jaws and felt the fight slowing leave his body. Carefully he realised his throat and looked into Kimimaro's eyes properly for the first time since he was a child. In that moment he could see Kimimaro go from insane killer to recognising him at last.

Before either could get a word out he heard a slow clap coming from the dark of the trees.

Pein emerged.
