A week passed since I had seen Derek, and I was starting to get used to going to land walkers school. I somehow managed to achieve all A's. I really don't know how I did it, but I did! Izzy and Andy have been really nice company. Andy is always with James, watching tv, playing games, and even occasionally going out for a swim, while Izzy has been doing most of the housework, giving me time to study and get schoolwork done. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to swim ever since I saw Stiles and Scott in the woods on the first day here.

"Katy!" I heard Izzy call.

"Huh?" I say.

"You do realize that school starts in thirty minutes right?" Izzy appeared in my door frame smirking.

I jumped away from my desk. I had been up all night working on a history paper for Mr. Yukimura. "Crap. Do I have to go to school?"

"Yes. Now get ready, otherwise you'll be late." Izzy laughed, as she walked away towards the kitchen. She had probably already gotten Andy and James to their school.

I grumbled and got up from my desk, but the minute I got up a wave of pain was sent through my head. I tried to ignore it, and I grabbed the papers I wrote and put them in a folder. I stumbled into the bathroom, and brushed my teeth. I would just skip breakfast. I honestly didn't care what people though of me today, so I just put on some sweatpants, and a sweatshirt. I skipped putting on makeup, and just did my hair in a high ponytail.

I grabbed my backpack, and felt another wave of pain in my head. I winced, but still ignored it. I had to at least try and go to school. This is what Mom wanted me to do. I pulled up my hoodie as I passed Izzy.

"Bye, Katy!" She said.

"See you later" I yawned.

I got into the Jeep, and went in the direction of the school. I nearly fell asleep, but managed to stay awake. When I pulled into the parking lot, I jumped out of my car, locking it, and headed towards my locker. My headache seemed to have started to lessen. By the time I reached my locker, it was nearly gone.

"Hey, Katy!" Stiles greeted, smiling.

"Mmm," I said, not making any actual words. I was way to tired for this.

"Well, somebody's tired." Stiles joked, and I glared at him. "Wanna tell me why Sleeping Beauty is so sleepy?"

"I was up all night, writing this paper for Mr. Yukimura for extra credit." I explained to Stiles, my eyes somehow managing to stay open.

"Well, did you at least get it done?" Stiles asked.

"Yeah," I yawned. "It took forever, but I did manage to finish."

"At least it was worth it then," Stiles smiled.

I managed to return a smile as well, but my eyes began to close. I slumped forward, and Stiles caught me. I felt butterflies in my stomach, and blushed.

"Dude, you're sure you can actually stay awake the entire day?"

I shrugged, "As long as the teachers don't catch me sleeping, I'll be fine."

The bell rang, and we headed towards class. Once we got walked inside the class, I dropped the papers on Mr. Yukimura's desk.

"Thank you, Katy." He told me.

I merely nodded, then walked to my seat, and slumped down into it. Over the week, I had realized most of the pack was also in this class, and before I was just to caught up in moving to notice.

"Hey bro," Scott said to Stiles.

"What's up?" Stiles asked.

I could feel Scott's eyes on me, and I managed to avoid looking at him. "Tell you after school."

"McCall!" The teacher called on Scott. "Is there a reason you're talking in my class."

Scott looked embarrassed. "No, sir."

"Good, then you may sit down."

Most of the class laughed, but I simply lowered my head onto my desk. My headache had started to return. My eyes had began to close but then I felt a tap on my shoulder and managed to lift my head up. Stiles looked at me worriedly.

"You okay?" He asked.

"Stiles, I literally just told you a few a minutes ago I was tired. That's all."

"Katy—"

"Stiles!" Mr. Yukimura snapped.

"Yeah?"

"Would you please move away from Miss. Pearls?"

"Wha— Ugh. Fine." Stiles got up and moved to a seat that was in the back of the class, which was also the only one available. I glanced at him before turning to look back at the teacher as he continued on his lesson. After a few minutes his talking turned distant and I put my head back on the desk.
