I know, why age?

Well, when you think about it, most dragons in the story that are less than a year old can speak perfectly.

What i'm getting at is that they speak from the egg, weird right?

So i created a mental timeline in my head, researched for days, and finally came up with an answer.

This is the good part....

Dragons age twice as fast as us, in the mental region at least.

Wow right? Does this mean that they're smarter than us? No not necessarily, but they are smarter than us at a small age, especially Nightwings.

There's evidence too!

Ill show you, moonwatcher was four in her book, and she acted much older than a four year old human. Maybe she matured fast because of the mindreading, maybe not, probably yes though.

Do they grow faster than us? Well no. The thing is that their bodies grow at a common rate to ours.

Next question: "why are they the dominant species in the books?"

They are the dominant species because they are at the top of the food chain,

despite the fact that most of them die before the age of fifty.

Why?, because they get into fights way too often.

Thanks for reading!
