The dragons have ears.
They are related to lizards, they have scales and eye-ridges and everything, but they have Ears.Only mammals have ears, but here they are, dragons with ears.
Reptiles have earholes, which are small holes on the sides of their heads. These dragons have actual protruding ears on the sides of their head. This might mean they are related to some mammals, even Queen Corral said it, "we don't kill dolphins because we might be related to them. ", but that was kinda biased because Anemone looked like one and her mother was crazy.
They might be a reptile version of armadillos though, it would explain the Mudwing's broad snout and the Seawings evolution to great swimming,(armadillos in fact are great swimmers, known to hold their breath for up to six minutes and walk across the bottom of rivers, creepy)
But relation to armadillos wouldn't explain the wings and fire.
Maybe they are related to another mammal, I don't know.Another thing is that the dragons don't seem to hear well, seeing as they cant hear anything but squeaking from scavengers. Sure, they can hear sloths fine, but not humans. They can hear twigs snap, but you have to remember that branches to them are twigs. I guess the sloths are really loud over there. And that's all I have, for now.
