Mudwings, of all the things to be in a dragon, it's mud.
LIKE, seriously?
I don't mean to diss them but hey, their element is MUD.
Their abilities are holding their breath for up to an hour, they have a chance of having fireproof scales, and can breath fire if their body temperature is warm enough.
They can camouflage themselves in mud if necessary, (and to me that is not an ability, but Tui put it in the book, not me)
So really, mudwings have nothing but their sibling bond, which really is not leveled with mind reading, poison, prophecy, or super-hot fire/firescales.
But the mudwing's sibling bond does have one advantage, it makes them great leaders and team players. They depend on each other in battle, and formulate strategies based on each of their individual strengths.
And there seems to also be a healing factor in the mud. It only takes small contact with the mud to any missing to start healing.(book 1)
Anyhow, maybe it's a chemical, or some natural mineral that reacts to my swing DNA, I just put it in my file called : "SUPERNATURAL"
(SORRY, DONT LIKE TO DISS)
