Animus dragons are dragons that can enchant inanimate objects and living creatures to do their will.
These dragons are very revered in some cases and feared in most.
They are very rare and are very priceless in war.
Souls:
What does it mean for a dragon to lose his/her soul? How? Why? When does the change from good to bad occur?
Well, calm down and let me tell you, usually animus dragons do something that is not generally evil, but considered very violent in their eyes. This is where the change occurs. They flicker inbetween terrified and proud and obnoxious with their power. They have to convince themselves that what they did was right, or, they want to create more evil as a way to accommodate their power. The change occurs really when they justify hurting other people.
Basic rules: They hold or look at an object and require it to do something.
"Hey pineapple, get me a feather pen!"
"Rock, jump nine times!"
And so forth.
I noticed: Animi really put their intentions into their enchantments, what do i mean?
Well when they say the name of a dragon, they totally disregard the fact the fact that there are probably other dragons in that tribe that have that name. So how would the magic work? The fact is that the magic responds to the animus' will and singles out that one dragon the enchanter is enchanting. For example, "Turn Ruby to stone", Ruby would turn to stone. BUT, IF that dragon is like named 'Queen Ruby', the magic would still work, you understand?
Animus: double enchantment
Well, they just enchant the same object at the same time, duh.
Override enchantments:
Yes, animus' can do that, they just say a spell that counters or takes control over the original spell.
Darkstalker's Scroll:
It contained all his power, but was not completely destroyed when Kinkajou had a piece of it. The spell probably duplicated his power on accident.
