Growing Friendships

Once everyone was finished eating, you go and find Elliott. You say.

'' - Hey! Mind if I hang around here? I'm quite bored.

   - No not at all. ''

He started blushing a bit but he tried hiding it. You sit down on a chair and he says.

'' - Mind if I know more about you? I mean you came here a few days ago and I'm still a bit clueless about your life.

   - Sure! Ask away.

   - Where are you truly from. I don't feel you're born in Canada. You don't have their accent.

   - You're right. I'm born in France. I moved to Canada when I was 11. I still have my french accent though.

    - That's good to know. When and why did you start YouTube?

    - I started YouTube when I was 16 and I started making videos because being a YouTuber was always a dream of mine and I wanted to accomplish my dreams.

     - It's true you should always follow your dreams. How did you meet Kath?

     - We first met online. We were online best friends until we got the chance to meet each other at 14. It was one of the best days of my life.

     - That's nice. Why did you move to Australia? ''

You sighed. You didn't want to tell the full reason of why you moved to Australia. So you only decided to tell a bit of it.

'' - I needed a change from the snow and the cold, I mean when it's winter time. I also always dreamed to live in Australia too.

   - Well that's cool. I hope you will enjoy yourself here!

   - Well at least I got new friends to be with around here! I don't feel as alone as I thought.

   - You're considering me as a friend?

  - Well of course silly! Why wouldn't I? You seem nice and friendly. Everyone would want to be friends with you!

   - Everyone would want to be friends with you too. You are the definition of kindness.

   - I'm the definition of silliness right. ''

You both laughed and talked for a while. You then decide to go FaceTime your parents so you say goodbye to Elliott and you head to your room.

- Elliott's POV -

I have to admit: it was nice talking to Y/N. She's nice, friendly and pretty too. I mean, who wouldn't want to be friends with her? I really like her but I know that Lannan does too. Just the fact of seeing them having fun together is making me jealous. I would do anything, but anything to be with her. But for now, she's considering me as a friend. Let's just see how it goes before trying anything with her. It would be sad to ruin a friendship so quick.

- Narrator's POV -

It's already evening and you spent your day scrolling for videos through YouTube. You the go eat supper with the rest of the crew. You then had the big chance of sitting in the middle of Lannan and Elliott, that were still fighting. The meal went pretty calmly and you all decide to watch a comedy movie. You fall asleep in the middle of it again but you managed to wake up before the end so you went to sleep after that. While you were sleeping peacefully in your room though, the two boys started arguing again.

'' - We really need to watch over Y/N when she's with them. Something wrong could happen to her. '' Kath said to the others.

Eventually, everyone went to sleep in a tense humour. Their main concerns were to keep you okay and try to calm Elliott and Lannan a bit.

There again, you would be that clueless girl in the middle of a fight that everyone else knows about.
